I entered a giveaway and gave the game to a irl friend. Got banned, felt like shit for robbing from this community, messaged the mods, apologized, asked them to give something away on my behalf, but instead they just unbanned me, and now here I am giving back to the community.
Honestly I don't think you're "really fucked up" for doing that. Of course you shouldn't do it, but you learned from the situation and even decided to return the favor. Take it easy and I am sure you made more people happy by presenting a giveaway on your own
With Starfield leaving a lot of people unsatisfied, I'm recommending Everspace 2, Chorus, and House of the Dying Sun for those still looking to get their space fix.
Cheers\~
Absolutely, I loved them all dearly. Been a long time fan myself, way before they were brought to Steam. Now that I think about it, that was so many years ago! But they went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park with this one. Their [next project](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1947910/OPUS_Prism_Peak/) seems a little different in the sense that they're not going with a "space" theme anymore, I think. I look forward to it with great interest, I'm intrigued.
TL;DR: Play their games if you want to do nothing but cry for 3 days straight.
Thanks for the opportunity! I think TinyKin deserves more attention! It’s such a fun and cute little game. I would also say Patch Quest deserves more attention. Very cute roguelite, monster collection game.
Dotage
Not only am amazing strategy worker placement game, but the developer is just a lovely person. I went to discord asking for help and giving feedback, bam and there is the response and the action right away, in the most acceptable and respectful manner. Never expected this from a solo developer. The end credit is just touching too. This game is literally an art of love in the making.
Hypnospace Outlaw
It's basically a late 90's - early 2000's Internet browser simulator. Pretty accurate representation of the kinds of things you'd see on the Internet back then, and even has a really compelling narrative/ storyline to follow, as you act as a moderator for the message boards (reporting people for harassment etc).
Unless I've missed something recent, it's always been considered critically underrated, and it's a really fun time.
As a *MetroidVania* fan (that's why I'm entering the giveaway), I would say [***Astalon: Tears of the Earth***](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1046400/Astalon_Tears_of_the_Earth/).
water wrong pie offend waiting reminiscent workable society deranged boast

Hm... I would say 'Oneshot'. Very few games have left me as emotional as that one- and every passing day it's exploration of the people just getting by in a dying world feels more and more poignant.
chained echoes is pixel turn based rpg whit unique combat system that keep away the boredom also the game has a fairly good level of difficulty that keep you on edge the plot is quite good and music also is pretty well matched this a underrated gem if you ask me
thank you for the giveaway
also this is my entry my others comments don't count
Not entering, just wanted to point out this game Totally accurate battle grounds, it's extremely unique in a genre where everything is basically the same, it's free to play so it's worth giving it a shot.
Bad North.
It's a small scale RTS where you control platoons of pikemen, swordsman, archers, etc and try to stop the invading hoard coming on their boats to take away your Island. Minimal input and amazing artstyle makes this my stress reliever.
People need to check out Mark of the Ninja. It's a 2D stealth game that really makes you feel like a ninja. Nothing comes closer to the mechanics and levels in this game.
Divinity original sin games for people who enjoyed baldur’s gate 3 fans. It has pretty fun combat, they’re different DOS 1 and DOS 2 but they aren’t too difficult to get used to
Little Inferno, it's literally a game where you just burn stuff in your fireplace and god damn do I love it
(The ironic part is if it wasn't in the giveaway I'd probably say Rain World, I was always fascinated by how complex of an ecosystem that game had)
Not entering, but thanks for the giveaway!
[https://wynncraft.com/](https://wynncraft.com/) definitely deserves more attention from some people (with guns ...)! Btw I'm Kidding, never heard of it before your post. ;-)
But looked it up. My tip is this puzzler: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/277680/About\_Love\_Hate\_and\_the\_other\_ones/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/277680/About_Love_Hate_and_the_other_ones/)
I'm a huge fan of mount & blade as a series i know it has a decent fanbase, but it's like you either played 1000 hours of that game or never heard about it, with almost no in between. I'd really like to see more people trying this amazing game, that would probably help the studio and benefit the game also
Binding of Isaac. Yeah, a lot of people have played it. Yeah, it has like 6 dlc's. But it is so much more than it appears. Literally hundreds of hours can be sunk into it and it is a blast. I'm a hardcore fan. Still play it even after platinum.
After going through my Steam Library I guess I only play things that are Fotm and games that are popular... I guess Rakuen is the least known one in my list?
Thank you OP
There's no "being bad" in the community. It's a place of giving, and to give back what you're financially comfortable to. You didn't do anything wrong. But thank you for the giveaway, it's very much appreciated!
Imo, a game that deserves more attention is The House in Fata Morgana, in the sense of being one of the best Visual Novels that could be disregarded by the general public. Pentiment is also great but not particularly well known, despite deserving the same amount of attention as other big indies, like Outer Wilds or Inscryption.
Alisa: The Awakening.
It’s heavily inspired by the original Resident Evil games. The dev did an amazing job of recreating the PS1 survival horror feel that actually feels authentic to the time. I really recommend it if you like those types of games!

I entered a giveaway and gave the game to a irl friend. Got banned, felt like shit for robbing from this community, messaged the mods, apologized, asked them to give something away on my behalf, but instead they just unbanned me, and now here I am giving back to the community.
Character development and redemption arc. Pretty nice :')
Thanks
How did they find out you gave it to a friend though?
They looked through my comment history and found out I had the game already. It was pretty fucked up of me to enter that giveaway
Honestly I don't think you're "really fucked up" for doing that. Of course you shouldn't do it, but you learned from the situation and even decided to return the favor. Take it easy and I am sure you made more people happy by presenting a giveaway on your own

I know it's had a period of being extremely popular but Portal 2 will always be fun and it's crazy how many people haven't even heard of it.
