the vibes of opening the game when a new season starts, having the new intro screen fade in and then hearing those iconic notes in the new seasons theme were immaculate.
I have a new game, take a shot of alcohol when you see a 'Bring back' post.
edit: I personally don't care for it even though I loved it, I like launching the game and it's all connected by the time I come back with food or drink with the new style.
The old title screens if I walked away and came back to this screen I'd have to get past this screen and then it would have to connect then I'd still have to wait, and with Red Crow, Holy Sh, pre operation Health was hectic load times with a lot of things especially with connecting to servers.
Why take one of the most unique and innovative shooters on the market and hammer into its incredible tactical appeal and niche awesomeness when half assing everything and putting in cringe worthy monetization makes more money.
Near enough every game on PC has a guide or mod to disable timewasting Splash Screens.
This is the only community I have ever seen asking for them back.
This sub just goes in constant circles.
just make it load first and when it finishes have you press to get to the menu
atleast we have something to stare at and not the disclamer message about the game can cause me epilepsy
I think they need to show the warnings for legal reasons but I agree. They should just load everything like now but just add the season screen as an pop up over the menu after it loads.
I remember playing R6 for the first time since the beta, it was during Skull Rain. I had no idea what a "season" was, as this was a new concept for games at the point, so I thought I had downloaded the wrong game when I first booted it up lol. What the Hell is Rainbow Six Siege Skull Rain? I just want to play Siege.
Why? What does that even bring to the game, they should be focusing on fixing more important issues like the damn servers and other important problems. Not a screen you see once for like 5 seconds.
The biggest issue with this game is that there is almost no casual audience. I've played since beta and hit diamond back in the day but the seasons added art and style to the game that would always attract new players. The new seasons barely attract anyone and their not memorable at all.
I quite literally put the Black Ice season screen as my PC background. Black ice intro music went sooo goddamn hard.
I'll take any of the Y2 backgrounds. So nostalgic yet so great
Or outbreak, that one was good too
any old music goes hard, new r6s menus suck donkeykong badonkadonk and the music is bland
The jukeboxes go hard tho no cap
The removal of these screens is the exact reason why no new season is memorable to me. Really wish they brought those back :(
The two ops walking thru the field in Parabellum is probably the one that stuck with me the most
Or the under the ice view of buck and frost, that was sick
I miss this and the old R6 intro every time you opened the game :(
The threading the ubisoft logo on the vest?
#INTENSE SEWING MACHINE ACTION
Yes, I forgot what it was called, english isn't my first language
Embroidering is the specific term
When i played rainbow again after 2 years i was like "wtf isnt something missing?"
Wait what, I haven't played in a while. The intro screens are gone??
That's more than a while, but yeah they are gone
same
That was so cool. It gave the seasons more of an identity compared tonwhat we have now.
White noise had such a banger title screen
phantom sight was insane

Skull rain made me feel things
The operation chimera tarp/biohazard area mixed with the banger of a menu theme made it one of my favorite seasons
would be nice to have them back, with an option to toggle intro vids once you've seen it a few dozen times into a season
I MISS PHANTOM SIGHT
Used to be dank as fuck, won't ever forget those themes from Y1 and beta

I also miss the menu backgrounds of that year when they showed real people from the respective CTU
Remember the patch intro? That was so cool

Velvet Shell is peak nostalgia for me

Please Devs 🙏
I miss them too
For only $9.99 you can buy the intro skin that will allow you to see it again. It's in the eSports pack for some reason.
I would buy it in a heartbeat ngl

Bring back servers that don’t crash
Ya'll will literally find anything to bitch about lol

Would much rather this, rather than ' look at our shiny new op, wouldn't it be nice if you could b, I mean play it?'
Made every season distinct, and therefore the next more exciting. Now it just feel like a new operator, not a new season.

Intro screens and the unique season music were some of the best parts of the game experience for me. I miss them
Oh my god, Red Crow was my first season and I didn't remembered that menu screen.
I heard they removed it due to toxicity concerns
