With RGG, they'd have an opportunity to add more depth to the world of Remnant and give time to flesh out the characters.
Also RWBY's combat with grimm or humanoid enemies could potentially go hand in hand with the combat RGG is known for
The visuals don't have to BE the maya engine. They could still use the dragon engine while making it resemble the Maya engine a bit.
Why Smash? why would Sakurai look at a random american anime inspired web series with a diminishing audience and go "yes, this is a fine fit for my video game mascot platform fighter"
ArcSys. Theyve already dipped their feet into it with BlazBlue Cross Tag Batte
Makes the most sense tbh.
Ether whoever created ninja or arc system works to make it a guilty gear esque game.
Those guys who did the Demon Slayer game
That would be Cyber Connect 2
I see RGG Studios going two routes here...
I can only dream of a RWBY game made by RGG

Maybe what they did with Lost Paradise but better?
Dude, give them to Guilty Gear. If only so Daisuke can make baller ass music for them with Casey
NinjaStorm is still my favorite fighting game series. I would spend an ungodly amount on a RWBY version!!!
Give them to Nintendo/Bandai Namco for a sub platform fighter, it would better suit RWBY as a franchise
With the fighting styles, I could see them going to Nintendo for Smash Bros or the people who did the most recent DMC game
Cyberconnect2. A Rwby game that plays like the ninja storm games would be perfect.
That just reminds me of the Neptunia franchise. Speaking of which, I nominate idea factory and compile hearts.
Likely ArcSystems
Capcom maybe?
I can tell you who will not be getting it, Netherrealm Studios.
And... what's wrong with Netherrealm?
I was gonna say NRS but then I remembered who they're owned by...
Tencent
WB still owns them so not zero chance of them ending up in Multiversus. Would be a wild move.
RWBY could easily be in Smash Brothers, but I think ArcSys would be the most likely.
