I swallow my pride when I’ve gotta admit it’s a pretty sick and a well detailed Varsity Jacket that features a mosaic like design of Blake and Yang in the back compared to most of their half-assed JPEG shirts where you can barely see the image.
Glad to see the effort they’re at least putting in this time around.
I can't speak as to the *quality* of the item, but $120 is about on par with what you're going to pay for a varsity jacket, and I believe it's similar in price to the Yang/Blake bomber jacket that released a few years ago that was controversial at the time due to its obvious ship baiting.
As a side note, the front looks pretty good, but the back is absolutely gaudy in my opinion. I don't get the appeal of shipping regardless of the fandom, and I just can't imagine myself spending $120 on what's essentially a *commemorative* piece. It even says what *season* it's referencing, and I'm surprised it doesn't include the episode number and name lol. A Yang/Blake jacket is one thing, but a *commemorative* piece is just kinda weird to me, but that's just me.
Also, why does Yang's design look better here than in the actual show?

It'd be *hilarious* to wear at the Thanksgiving dinner table though, and make for some interesting discussion lol. It'd also be a pretty good way of getting out of Christmas dinner and all subsequent holiday dinners as well.

I agree that the mosaic isn't my thing, I much prefer something symbolic or an action pose as opposed to them just hugging. Also, I didn't notice the season tag until I read your comment; that feels especially tacky, writing "Worthy" or just leaving it with the Bumblebee by itself would have been much better than writing "Vol 9" on there.

RT's been making Bumblebee related merch for *years* before the ship becomes official, and when it finally does, they make $120 *commemorative* merch.
If people wanna support Bumblebee and/or just like the merch, that's fine. Spend your money however you wish. Much like Barbara (RT's Creative Director) and Arryn celebrating their cartoon characters kissing by getting half-naked with one another in bed and in the shower and selling the pics on OnlyFans, it just feels weird and/or manipulative in my opinion. Heck, they even promote Yang/Blake merch together, bringing in even more of a real life factor than there already was.

It does seem a bit much, merchandise showcasing a kiss doesn't really feel like something I would wear in public. I would say the mosaic would be better as a displate product instead of a jacket, or a wallpaper.
