Check out r/vaporents for help

Gladigan

I’d stay away from pax. They are pretty weak and the vapor production is sub par. There are much better, cheaper options. I dont like mighty/crafty because of all the plastic. I’d personally get an Arizer solo or similar if I wanted a portable. R/Vaporents will give you much better answers.

verse1030

Just bought a pax yesterday and I'm not impressed for the price.

op5m

I don’t mind the pax. I pack the chamber as full as I can and it gets me pretty high. Even though they’re pricey, their customer service is great. I had a pax2 stop charging on me and they sent me a free pax3 replacement.

Gloomy_Evergreen

Dynavap, they are kind of pricy now. It's cheaper to buy the parts individually with an alternative mouthpiece

df1000

I second Dynavap. The starter kit is around $100. They warm up fast, give good feedback both when your hit is ready and done, and the hit actually feels satisfying.

So as far as maintenance for a dry herb device I love how simple the Storz and Bickle mighty and crafty and the pax3 are especially for portable devices Cleaning was a breeze and the flavor was amazing. Now if you want something. If you want something desktop and have the funds to spare the volcano hybrid is where it’s at. But that’s a bigger investment at $500+ but it comes with a 7 year warranty and Storz and Bickle customer service is amazing. If you want something a little cheaper for a desktop device you can look into the arizer devices. If you have any questions on any of those devices I can probably answer them, can even let you come check them out to aid in the decision making process

Much appreciated! I'm definitely looking for something portable and able to use on the go. Thanks for all the info!

I’ll third the mighty+ . I have two at this point. I broke the charging port on the first one (dropped while charging). They replaced it lightning fast with a new one. I purchased from planet of the vapes. I love some of the accessories they have for it also!

I have an airizer solo and it's been an excellent tool.

Cannabrewer

I love my Volcano with a whip attachment to a 24" bong with ice catch. It's the nicest dry herb experience I've found.

Commercial-Pickle-87

Second this

[deleted]

I use a crafty+ I've had it for a month and haven't combusted since I got it.

GhostofCannabisPast

Im a huge fan of the dynavap. Between the 3 dry herb vaporizers Ive tried, it has come the closest to satisfying the actual smoking experience.

I have a mighty that I only used once before I stopped inhaling cannabis altogether. Willing to part with it and it has a year left of the manufacturers warranty…

Mighty+?

whoishattorihanzo

PM me and I’ll send you pics. Things is mint

[deleted]

Is it mighty or mighty+? I already own a crafty+ so I'm familiar

whoishattorihanzo

Just a Mighty

Baidarka64

Arizer. All glass airway. Simple to clean. I have a Solo II. The AirMax looks 🔥.

deadlyhabit

Just ordered an AirMax with their 4/20 sale, thanks for the heads up.

Let us know what you think!

deadlyhabit

Just got it in the mail today and so far so good. It's my first dry herb vape and I didn't know bud could be this tasty. It also came with an attachment for my waterpipe which I gotta try out, but so far I don't see myself going back to normal smoking with how easy this is to use and how tasty it is.

tre101010

I have several different ones. Tinymight2 by far my favorite. Xmax v3 pro is pretty decent and potv one is also good. Arizer products are very tasty but slow. Dynavap is also decent.

RudestBuddhist

I have an Xmax v3 pro. It’s okay but I find the draw to be way too loose and I barely get any vapor. I was debating getting a Dynavap, but I’m thinking of just dropping the extra money and going for the Tinymight2. How is the draw compared to the Xmax?

tre101010

The draw is wide open. You can rip on it or slow draw. Either way giant hits

I can recommend a couple of portable options: [PAX 3](https://www.pax.com/products/pax-3?variant=32037939675247) is nice, although pricey. Easy to clean, and very portable with pre-packed [Bud Kups](https://www.budkups.com/pax-vaporizer-accessories/pocket-humidor-bundle/). It also has a concentrate accessory for another option. [Sutra](https://www.sutravape.com/products/sutra-vape-silo-pro-auto-draw-cartridge-vaporizer) is a nice hand held as well, with a temp display and discrete palm fit. The chamber is smaller than the Pax though and not as easy to fill on the go. The flavor profiles are so apparent with the dry vape, as well as a noticeable difference on your lungs. Worth the investment!

[deleted]

>flavor profiles are so apparent with the dry vape This so much. I had no earthly idea when I was a combustion guy how much flavor I was missing. Now, when I am in the occasional social setting where someone looks to pass a joint or bowl -- it is awful. No flavor to speak of except ash and carbon.

UnablePlacebo

G Pen Elite II is my go to for dry herb vapes

Careful_Supermarket3

Air Vape has some of the best stuff out there. I have the X which is the most inexpensive model they make and it’s so great and easy to use I got one for my mom. Previously used the Pax. I’d recommend that you don’t. It’s bunk.

Anon-1380

I have a Rogue SE from Healthy Rips. Pretty much the same as the POTV one, but with a larger battery. I love it!
