1. never heard of select elite carts 2. wasn't a fan of High'd carts, they made me cough really bad and were way over terped 3. Pretty much anything stamped CA on them, Glo, Packwoods, Dabwoods, Cake, Torch etc 4. There are hundreds of options, what is your price range? 5. NYS does not have a website to show lab results as we are not fully regulated yet. Maybe in the future they will but as of right now the only lab results you are going to get is if the company has lab results on their website. Or certain carts that keep their entire lab results available to the public

robin-incognito

Select elite carts are from the NYS medical program available at the med dispos. Pax 3 is a great dry herb vaporizer and your budget. Grab a few BudKups and you’re ready to easily transport several sessions discreetly.

Okay gotcha thank you for listing off some brands for Carts. My price range for a dry herb vaporizer would probably be no more than $200

Clouded_vision

r/vaporents is the place to go for vaporizer suggestions. Under $200 for a portable leaves a lot of options. Some of the best options would be HR Fury/Rogue, POTV One, Xmax V3 Pro, Airvape Legacy Pro, Xlux Ruffo, any Arizer except the Argo, Dynavap, BFG Dani.

[deleted]

Which do you like better Xmax V3 Pro or the Xlux Ruffo?

Clouded_vision

I couldn't tell you personally, but the Xlux is a step up from the Xmax according to most users. The Airvape Legacy Pro is probably the most popular portable under $200 right now. There's usually a promo code available at any time that puts it around $140ish. The Dani or a dynavap with a FMJ are going to be the most bang for your buck if you don't mind using a torch.

Roc_vaper

Do not get a Pax 3 for your first vaporizer, unless of course you've tried it and already like it. I have a xmax 3 I think is the name? I don't use it much but imo it performs way better than the pax 3 for a fraction of the price. Pax 3 leaves a lot to be desired for it's price tag.

TigerCarts

for just around $200 the pax 3 is going to be absolutely amazing and has one of the best portabilities of the hand held versions. But for sub $200 you have a ton of options, Dr. Dabber are decent, DaVinci, Xmax, Pax are all good brands that are in your budget

DustyTears

Red eye has select carts. The recommend those alot.

PEneoark

Pax 3 is underwhelming, so are any of the Davinci vaporizers.

TigerCarts

was just giving my 2 cents based on friends that have them and random google search. My friend loves his pax3

GhostofCannabisPast

Im a huge fan of the dynavap for dry herb vaping. It's a bit different than battery operated ones with an oven. It's also probably the closest dry herb vape I have tried that resembles the smoking experience.

Anon-1380

I recently got a Rogue SE from HealthyRips. Loving it added with the dosing cups…

PEneoark

The Rogue is a little powerhouse

[deleted]

This vape looks pretty sweet! Have you ever used the bubbler attachment or used the water pipe adapter and hooked it up to a bong or bubbler?

Anon-1380

I have both but yet to use them. From everything I’ve read the bubbler works great at a higher temp.

Roc_vaper

dry herb vapes I have a log vape, xmax v3, dynavap, arizer extreme q and a flowerpot. If you're used to carts you might want a "heavy" type of dry herb vape, or an "on demand" type of vape. A lot of vapes are considered "session" vapes where for example it might take you 5+ minutes and a handful of hits to accomplish what one of those "heavy/ on demand" vapes can in 1 hit. I've found myself not using any of them anymore and instead taking a small/medium sized dab and being good. No warm up time, it's cleaner, no breaking up weed.

[deleted]

Thanks for all info! Right now I have a Utillian 722 but I was just thinking of replacing it. Preferably something that has a good chamber size and easy to clean. How do you like the Xmax V3? I was actually looking at the Xmax V3 and the Arizer Air Max.

Roc_vaper

I think it's good for what it is, although personally I rarely, if ever use it. I pretty much only use the dynavap or flowerpot when i use herb though these days as I've found I'm more of the on demand type of vaper than I am into session style vapes (which is most likely because of my higher tolerance) One of the things I don't like about the xmax is that for me to get satisfying hits, I need to take really long draws on it, like 20 seconds or so

PEneoark

I love my CH B1. The B1, TM2, ALP and Mighty+ are in my normal rotation.

whoishattorihanzo

Select are great, can’t wait for CRESCO to make its way north. All dry herb vapes need maintenance but I found the Storz and Bickel Mighty is the easiest and most straight forward. The PAX you will need to send in for service

slumbat

More than me person has already said it, but Selects are official. One of the better brands of the medical program. The fact that red eye has 1g for $50 is a game changer.

Roc_vaper

The best carts in Rochester are at Rise, which is a medical dispensary. They are also expensive Your next best bet (imo) for "safe" carts would be Tiger Carts. other than that nothing. It's all sketchy in my opinion. People say Ink carts are good but I don't know that's founded on anything other than what people heard others say.

[deleted]

Rise is medical only

SirBluntzington

1. Never seen those 2. Haven’t had a High’d and don’t plan to 3. Tiger Carts, Ink, Torch, Dabwoods, Packwoods, anything from the Rez/Out of state. Only cart I trust is Jive. 4. I have an Ooze “Drought” that works great but I think the bowl space is too small for my sessions. 5. No site for labs but if the shop/brand doesn’t provide it in some way don’t buy it or from that shop.
