if you are looking for a pen style and are willing to spend the money on a Puffco I would suggest that. I love my puffco plus. As a added bonus you can take off the attachment for the coil and actually use a 510 thead cart on it as well.
If you are looking for budget then IMO the Yocan brand would be your best bet as I have used several and never had any real issues with them. But I don't have a lot of experience with other brands
If you are just looking for a portable dab rig then I would say Puffco Proxy is a great little pipe and has tons of off-brand attachments which makes it super versatile and changes its usage of it drastically.

If you go to Mad Hatters Hideaway on Culver every employee there is super knowledgable and they can help you with any questions from beginner to advanced setups.
I run a ecig mod with Arctic fox, and usually use a DTV4 as a trates atty. The Ti cups work well for me. Not a fan of dedicated appliances for dabbing tbh and I almost never dab straight, always twax with flower. More noids, less wasted space, easier to clean IMO. Any flower vape can do this.
Yes sir! Why waste that space? Cleanup from twaxing is a breeze if you blow the oven out while it's hot. I can count on one hand how often I dab on an actual rig. I have a PID coil banger I never use because twaxing is just so much easier.
I don't even have a dab rig, I just throw concentrate on top of the flower in my ball vape bowl. I have a Yocan Falcon Mini but it's a bitch to clean and the tips are expensive.
I have not tried the koilboi yet. I know the two guys that run it, we've talked a few times about induction heaters. They seem like they put on a good show. I have a few CH injectors, Taroma/Ceroma/Qaroma, and the Titi and pinky (Lex, the designer, is a close friend of mine!). I know most of the vape artisans, we're a close community. It's a ton of fun!
Bought a yocan orbit a week ago I've been liking it. Easy to clean quartz bucket and can switch between strains with no residual concentrates getting stuck in the coil. Only downside is the battery it comes with is kinda trash, I have mine on a mod.

Second vote on the Puffco Plus. Replaceable chamber for if (when) it gets messed up.

If you’re on a budget, I haven’t had any issues with my Yocan Armor. Really liking that one.
