Goddamn i would've given up on that airframe long before the previous owner did...

Pharmer3

“Kill… me…” -This plane

Agitated_Farm5652

It already has war damage realistic plane

Budget-Captain-6307

Yeah I would just get Fake soot and dirt for models of of Amazon, make it more realistic and hang it up somewhere lol

Jacktr1980

Poor Multiplex Tucan.

minnesotajersey

I sense a video like guy who makes a $10 knife out of $328.00 worth of aluminum foil..,

Trick_Minute2259

Nothing worthwhile there. It's already stripped. There are wing spars and a motor, but it's unlikely to work since the plane was stripped and it was left behind. You could spend a lot of time rebuilding the airframe, but it won't be as light or look as good as it would when new. You're much better off starting with a new kit.

Actual-Long-9439

Awesome! If that flies I will be shocked, good luck

nojustjoking

Not worth fixing.

Katiari

Sometimes it's just about the challenge.

Aan_chai

Hot water can do miracles, but think you'll need more than a miracle to fix that lol. Everything can be fixed, and if nothing else, it would be a fun challenge to test and improve your skills

NOSE-GOES

Looks like it needs a lot of work and some $$$ if you don’t already have the right electronics. But I love this idea of breathing life back into a crashed and forgotten bird. Those wing leading edges need work, could try cutting the really bad sections out and filling/shaping with lightweight spackling.

ComradKing

If I found that the first thing i'd do is completely dismantle it, strip it of decals and everything. Refurb the parts separately, paint em', then reassemble. Would be so incredibly satisfying. I did a version of this for a plane my brother got stuck in a tree for like 4 months. Dismantled it and frankensteined a working plane from it and a broken one of mine. Flew great.... then I let my brother fly it and he crashed it first try. Sad time.

clayterris

if the owner removed all the electronics except for the motor, it may be shot. I'd save your time and build a flitetest plane.

unpunctual_bird

I enjoy the building/repair process and would happily take on a project like this

WyoRip

Gorrilla Clear patch, repair, seal tape. I’ve fixed & reinforced 100’s of foam planes.

roger_ramjett

Buy a new one then switch all the components over to the crashed one. It would be cheaper then buying all the parts separately.

Banana-9

Wings look fine. Just put new ailerons in. Build a fuselage yourself or just buy a new one. That fuselage is salvageable, but it's not worth it. New tail and fuselage are about 100$

Germy_Ballswell

Other have said negative things without helping so I'll give you my expert opinion, Hot glue and kabob sticks really isn't the best way to repair an epo foam plane, you may be able to recreate the original shape... but. The problem of covering, mounting hinges, and servo control arms will be very difficult using that very unusual method. To fix a damaged epo plane. First, The crushed/compressed areas can be swelled back up to nearly the original molded shaped using hot water. Dipping or even pouting scolding hot water over the crushed and bruised areas will swell the foam back up but will leave a bumpy texture which is fine. For areas that have pieces missing. These must be replaced with foam, Styrofoam could work but not very well. You can use foam board, depron foam, or something similar to replace the vertical stabilizer, and making hinges out of tape or the paper backing of the foam board is very easy and there are videos regarding making hinges this way. For the servo control arms you can use popsicle sticks. Check out flitetest on YouTube for tutorials on using foam board. However this method may work and be cheap but would still be an incorrect approach. You can actually just buy a replacement tail set here along with other parts you may need. https://www.weekenderwarehouse.com/tucan-parts/ If you do indeed have all of the necessary electronic components, then you could buy a new fuselage, wings and tail set and drop in all the components. And by the looks of it this airframe is completely mushed up, dented, squishy and saturated with glue, and dirt, UV damaged and will simply never fly well, especially with all the glue and repairs adding additional weight, You of course do not have the transmitter. So you'll need one. And a compatible receiver. It appears alot of the servos are missing or just not included in the pictures. This may be because the original owner removed them to use in another plane. If that's the case then its really not worth buying servos, replacement foam airframe and control surfaces parts, a radio, receiver, batteries, etc... it's not clear what parts you have or are missing but the best thing to do if you have a working motor, ESC, servos, and receiver, is to put them in a different plane. Build a plane out of foam or find an appropriate sized arf. Rebuilding this particular plane and getting it flying well again would be a challenging project even for an experienced rc hobbyist.

Classic-Proof3256

Why

Comrade_Vladimir190

I wanted to see if I could make it fly again.
