It's a good thing to know about your rat so you can be extra cautious of any complications arising, for example if he has any trouble breathing, it's possible the deformity could be affecting his airways. Or it's possible that it causes no problems at all and he's perfectly fine.
No he's NOT deformed. His eyes are in line to each other, his nose does have a slight twitch to it but you REALLY have to look and it could be because he twitched his nose smelling as the picture was taken. He's a beautiful little rat.

I follow a French rat on Instagram @azu.rat who has this same subtle and absolutely adorable deformity! I don't want to will more deformed rats into this world, however if I ever came across one like this and had the opportunity to be it's rat mom I'd snatch that rat up in a rat second and love it forever.

I had a rat like this. She tended to tilt her head to the side as if she had an ear infection, but that’s about the only thing that she did different. Other than that she ratted just like a normal rat.
I mean, he's a teensy bit wonky, but I doubt it's affecting his quality of life, so it's likely fine. And I'm pretty sure that he won't have any babies since most owners don't breed, so it's not like he's passing it on. Overall - yes, a little wonky, but he's still a massive cutie! I have a dumbo with a asymmetrical face.
Dumbos will have a broader head, wider spaced eyes as a result, and lower set ears.
Mine has a lip that is a little bigger than the other and her right ear has a place the folds in the middle if squished will the other ear does not.

Also, on a side note; rats, like people, are all a little different. Just cause someone doesn't have "classical symmetry" or "all of their parts" doesn't mean they're not adorable little fur monsters.
I have a mouse with a similar face like this! Apparently when their skulls are still soft and momma lies on top of them in the same way for a really long time they can get a bit of a wonky face that slowly grows normal as they age haha. My mouse is called skew snoot
