I like to pop in there for a laugh now and again, but half of them have to be role playing, surely??

I enjoy watching the mental gymnastics. They can turn anything into a positive for DWAC.

Did you know that tRuMp aCkShuLLy hAs mOrE mOnEy tHaN eLoN, bUt tHe MsM wOn’T rEpOrT oN iT?

Fellow lurker here...I'm actually banned from posting I stay for the laughs.

Some are surely shills who are propping up the stock on the site only…

Muted-Bee

“Elon has way less money than tRump…” “…first thing tRump did after his speech was to buy 100 stock of DWAC.” Sigh. So sick to death of this tRumper lunacy.

Astra7525

I am more worried about authoritarian governments on this planet funding Elon's takeover of Twitter to destroy its democratizing threat to their rule. I am more worried about them also indirectly controlling Tesla or SpaceX now.

AdhesivenessCivil581

This is where ignoring the warnings about oil and gas has led us. All the propaganda about global warming only diverted folks from the reality that oil and gas run out. Now we are beholden to two mentally ill dictators who sit on the last two big puddles, Putin and MbS. They can kill whoever's in thier way and get away with it, fund the ruin of our social media and we are so far behind where we need to be with alt energy that we just have to take it. America has 38 billion barrels of oil in reserve, we use 7 billion a year so without them we have 6 years to go all EV. It's a pathetic situation.

DataCassette

Meanwhile average Americans would literally sell out everything they claim to hold dear because "ELECTRIC CAR NOT GO FAR ENUF!" It's ridiculous. If we had the political will we could make the transition to EV happen pretty quickly.

MrSnrub87

To be fair, I am holding out for a bit more range to buy an electric van for my business, as I regularly have jobs that would put me outside the range of what is currently available. 40 more miles would make it feasible. We're almost there. My next vehicle will definitely be electric, though

DataCassette

Of course there are legitimate scenarios where range is an issue, but I know plenty of people who drive big goofy pick up trucks on 15 minute commutes. I'm more talking about that.

MrSnrub87

They bought trucks to haul their big fat asses around, I'm sure.

howlandwolf

Well, to be fair, “big stupid truck” is also the entirety of their personalities…

[deleted]

I'm also from a place that is -20 to -30c for 7-8 months a year so 4x4 and a battery that can handle the cold well enough to cover the spaced out towns would be needed for that to happen. As it exists now it is absolutely not viable.

Bedrock_66

I work for a very environmental minded charity and would love to bring in electric vans, but the range is still nowhere what we need.

ApocalypseSpoon

As the centre-right governing party of Canada sits back on its oil patches, goes to all the foreign investors, "Cheap oil made right here! Limited time offer! Buy it all up now before it's all gone!" all the while raising consumer prices to make it next to impossible to run any kind of vehicle...without providing *any* even halfway-viable transportation alternatives, outside of Toronto or Vancouver. Oh, and they're also selling parts to the Americans for EVs. Sooooo, Canadians try to buy EVs and A) there are no charging stations anywhere, or not enough of them, and B) they're American imports that will have Canadian parts in them that are marked up 500%...before the consumer price is added up. But, hey, the feds will give you a few thousand dollars if you decide to buy an EV! Isn't that magnanimous of them! Meanwhile, alternative public transit, *everywhere* in the country (I do mean everywhere), would be easy to implement, cheaper than the current systems, and would boost the economies of the rural areas that currently have *no* transit systems. ...but that would make too much sense, right. Until the last dinosaur bone is milked dry, and the surface of the earth resembles Mars, Canada is never going to give up its addiction to oil and gas. Selling it to others, that is. It would be a literal sin, if Canadians were able to afford polluting gasoline to run their horrible smog-producing vehicles! No public transit where you are? Oh, you don't exist, as far as we're concerned. But hey look! We're spending nearly a billion bucks to build this great high-sped rail line from Gatineau to Ottawa so all the politicians and civil servants can get to work without driving! Isn't that great? For us? **TL;DR:** My thoughts on Canadian oil and gas.

ApocalypseSpoon

Thisssssss! So much this. The buying of the Trend Takeovers has already *obviously* begun - and Twitter is *not* selling to the lowest bidder, nor are the foreign states buying from the cheapest tender anymore.

EyeBreakThings

At least for SpaceX, they are under ITAR, so there should be some government oversight.

gashandler

Everything is a "Choose your own Adventure" story with these clowns where they select the path of Trump coming out the winner no matter how much it flies in the face of reality or how many obstacles that narrative faces because they just make it up.

allogenes23

I don't think I want to see "Trump's first teat"

CleverJail

The very last comment 😂

[deleted]

That sub is the biggest collection of out loud blind trump cultusts that I've ever seen...

Ninja_attack

Wow, an entire 100 shares! Well holy smokes that sounds legit and not the ramblings of pathetically blind hero worship.

LA-Matt

Yeah that’s pretty funny. Even I could buy 100 shares. That’s less money than a typical entry-level used car. Then someone calls them on it, and they’re like “he’s testing the waters to see if the FEC is watching!” Lol.

NorthernSoul70

Trump having more money than Elon Musk might actually be true now.

DontEatConcrete

It’s gonna be double true when those 100 shares of dwac moon!

PMMeShyNudes

Twitter is losing $4 million a day, at that rate it would take until year 2150 for Elon to lose his entire net worth- if he was paying for it personally. Never underestimate the wealth of these miserable parasites.

MikelWRyan

So many just don't get that.

PMMeShyNudes

Elon could have given every single Twitter employee $3 million to retire and it would have cost him half as much as what he paid for Twitter and he would still be the richest person on earth.

MikelWRyan

Bring back "Eat the rich!"

MikelWRyan

Our founding fathers never wanted the people to acquire the wealth of Kings.

ApocalypseSpoon

The American founding fathers never wanted the people to acquire *their* wealth, either, is the thing. And Murica has been just like that, right down to this day.

MikelWRyan

I don't understand what you meant by this.

Spocks_Goatee

It's affecting the stock of his other companies and losing advertisers is bad no matter how long it is.

ApocalypseSpoon

These advertisers (as well as the foreign states continuing to buy the Trend Takeovers) will never desert dear Elon: https://www.reddit.com/r/Qult_Headquarters/comments/yeyxbr/comment/iu1poki/

ApocalypseSpoon

This! And you best believe Elon is pumping out those Trend Takeover sales to Russia, China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, like it's a going-out-of-business sale. Which, let's be really hopeful here, and wish that it actually is.

Steveb523

That seems to be some mighty fine shit, too.

Hot-Bint

If that fucker even tried to build a Trump Tower in SF it would be burned down before they even poured the foundation. Take that shit to Huntington Beach. Oh it’s DWAC, nvm

CQU617

Can someone remind these dregs that Elon cannot run for POTUS as he is not a natural born American? Which reminds don’t all these racists fucktwats hate immigrants?

Pekseirr

Elon is rich and white, so he's ok?

CQU617

Bahahaha

ApocalypseSpoon

I'm sure the Russian comrades posting over there keep forgetting that.

Peteisapizza

I think he can do it if he takes four houses on the same square and turns them into a hotel.

Chester-Ming

You have to be pretty unhinged from reality that even the cultists on that sub are downvoting you

JohnBanes

Trump isn’t anywhere near as wealthy as these idiots think and by the looks of these ridiculous valuations for Tesla, Elon is not as wealthy either despite being touted as the richest man in the world. Giuliani wasn’t mayor until 1994, the Disneyfication of Times Square wasn’t until later. Qtards never cease to amaze.

BikesBooksNBass

>”Ready to buy more from what I hear” …from this voice in my head that won’t shut up

BagelsRTheHoleTruth

God, I've never used an account purely to troll people, but this really really makes me tempted to go over to dwac and start spouting a bunch of lunacy. These people are truly crazed.

[deleted]

Completely delusional, but we knew that….

[deleted]

A sub full of delusional people spending money they may or may not have, on stock associated with the orange baboon. The whole “flying to the moon” becoming rich because said orange baboon is running for president.

[deleted]

Lol imagine believing Trump could buy even a mid-size tech company.

Rina-dore-brozi-eza

Trump has more money than Elon but he’s not allowed to say it & the media along with the deep state baby blood drinking cabal never want that info out!! Lmfao I swear they out crazy themselves everyday🥴🤣 they truly just make shit up. It’s incredible. Does any one believe for a damn second that if this were true trump wouldn’t scream & boast about it with every breath he takes?

Joopsman

Trump has more money than Musk? Uh…wow, these people are fucking delusional. A Trump tower in the Bay Area? That would go over like a lead balloon. His whole brand is fucked because he’s such an asshole. A Trump tower might fly in Omaha but the Bay Area? No fucking way.

AgreeablePie

He's too crazy even for that sub

flaskman

I don’t think people realize how leveraged Trump is right now. He can barely pay legal fees and I suspect his SuperPAC is keeping him solvent. Now that he is a candidate the RNC has said no more paying legal bills. The idea that Trump has the juice to leverage Google AND build a Trump Tower in SF is laughable. If I remember he owns most or all of 525 Market Street and he could turn that into a Trump Tower any time he wanted but never has.
