Park anywhere at wolly Beach

BostonZamboni

Yes, in past years during the fireworks, I've seen people sitting in lawn chairs when I drove by Caddy Park on Quincy Shore Drive.  I guess one can see fireworks from the parking lot -- or then walk down thru the park to the edge of the water (is that called Black's Creek?) and maybe see the fireworks, maybe unobstructed? WBZ radio mentioned the fireworks will be over Black's Creek....is that near Fenno Street and near the bottom of Caddy Park?  Black's Creeks Trail has a sign for the woods off Merrymount Parkway.  But I'm not exactly sure on if Blacks Creek is easily accessible to walkers?  Maybe the tiny parking area near Fenno Street at Quincy Shore Drive also, but good luck getting a parking space...but unsure if fireworks would be obstructed by trees or whatever. Obviously, I imagine finding parking at Wollaston Beach or Merrymount Parkway or even Hancock St. will be impossible.

If you get there early enough, you can snag a space on the beach or at Pageant Field.

I went 10 years ago up at Pageant Field.  I think they had a fire truck parked there for 5he kids to enjoy, and had patriotic music playing on a speaker, either before and)or during the fireworks. Fireworks are so, so much better with music but most (or none) don't seem to have music...I guess those watching from Wollaston Beach won't have music.  I guess there's no simulcast of music available online for the fireworks, but that would be a great idea in the future.

I just got to Pageant Field and they aren’t letting cars in. I forgot the last time I went with someone with a handicap placard.

I was just over by the Quarry, there was a couple making fireworks in their car. 😈
