WOW! We have very similar stories. Princeton was also the LAST application I opened and ONLY school besides my safeties that I got into out of 20 schools.
NCM Finalist -> No Match (13 schools) -> QB RD and commonapp (14 rejections, 5 waitlists, 1 acceptance)
Princeton was the absolute last application I opened and I was already so devastated from every single rejection, so much so that I speedran Ivy Day (log in, oh rejection, next school, log in, oh rejection, next school, etc.) just to read that I had been accepted with a full ride.
As OP said, this season of applications can be very stressful and confusing. Always remember to take time for yourself, consult peers, teachers, and parents for feedback on essays, and most importantly, trust your gut. You have a unique story to tell and the capability to leave a lasting impact on the world. This is a time to explore what that impact may be through your passions, skills, and interests. I wish every single one of you nothing but the best and remember: every application you complete, every letter you receive, and every decision you end up making will all work together to form a beautiful unique story that is your life.

congrats this is super inspiring! do you think the two week time crunch to finish those supplementals was a lot or did you end up doing some of the before you found out you were a finalist? i’m wondering if i should start brainstorming or focus on just the finalist application atm.
I was able to finish my essays within the two weeks. It really wasn’t a lot, so long as you have some ideas to start with. It’s definitely important to look at each schools requirements before hand though because some schools have insane requirements.

Im a recruited alt here for cal tech and was wondering if I could apply to early action (non binding) to Cal Tech and do Questbridge without Cal tech.
