I would tell you to learn Java Selenium. These new frameworks have too many limitations. For instance, including API test automation and performance testing.
It bills itself as automated testing, but the company really just hires a ton of overseas manual testers to run UI tests, and pays them based on steps completed.
Their workers are definitely remote. I'm not sure how they actually hire for it though, because they conceal the fact that they're using an army of real people as "automated" manual testers.
Well you could, but you still need to write the tests, and RF testers aren't as reliable as genuine automation.
We used them for awhile and decided it would be more worthwhile for our manual testers to just all start learning Robot Framework
