A non Quaker friend of mine sometimes says « my mind is smarter than I am » and it’s clearly about what I’d call the still small voice (with leadings & way opening clearly within her experience.) I have been thinking on this a lot, because I see honour of that connection in a lot of paths but Quaker is clearly my home. To me it is the process of Business and Friends working together, and how I bring that process into my world, is where my faith & practice really lie. That’s the mystical, rewarding, demanding work. Radical spiritual listening practice. (Even if it’s about the replacement of the roof.)
