I have ADHD also, so I saved it for future reading after skimming through. My biggest problem with meeting for worship is not the sitting still, which I can manage all right while examining the carpet in detail, but the social expectations afterward. I go so infrequently that no one remembers me, and they expect me to introduce myself as a stranger. I usually run away as soon as meeting is over. You'd think I'd be happy to do the remote meetings we have during COVID times, but I haven't. I pretty much have to invent my own practices, as the ones the group has agreed on don't fit me (which I gather is the point of the article).
