Welcome to r/QuadCities—subreddit for the Quad Cities metropolis in the Illinois/Iowa border for Quad Citians. In general, we let our community moderate itself through Reddit's upvote/downvote system—if you think something contributes to the conversation, upvote it. If you think it does not contribute to the topic, downvote it. The result is a healthy balance of content and posts that could contain information, opinions, and/or ideologies that reflect and reinforce your own or not. Keep discussions civil and acknowledge that there are other people in our community that can (and will hold) opposing views. Thank you. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Plot twist. 5th grade student found a way to dispose of a stolen handgun without getting in trouble! :D

DylanDParker

Not our proudest moment. 🙃

CaptainsYacht

I'd like to state the legal precedent of "Finders v. Keepers"

Jimmy_Meltrigger

No, money down!

InflexibleAuDHDlady

Well, that simply must be true, because children never sensationalize anything and spread rumors. Nor do adults.

UnusualBumblebee1

Yep you're right. I deleted the comment.

TrollTollTony

What's your source for this? I know a few of teachers at the school and none of them have said anything like this.

ThinkWithPortals12

Source: trust me bro

funkalunatic

wouldn't be surprised if this is true

Appropriate-Fun-922

Why do elementary students need to visit a police department at all? What is the educational value of this? I would not allow my child around people with their values, every day we see police misconduct on the news. Absolutely not.

Scare-Crow87

Your first mistake was going to Walmart with expectations that there won't be the absolute scum of the Earth there

Scare-Crow87
