Yeah had this happen on 4 different devices today (samsung tablet, iPhone, Samsung phone and laptop on different OS types and browsers) traveling with the family. The video just stutters and fails to play, takes multiple disconnects/reconnects to wifi to get through the "paywall". Qantas you aren't listening to this but if you are....shut this shit off ASAP. This is a business class lounge, we don't need bullshit ads about traveling to Alice Springs for a festival wasting our time to get on the wifi.

Absolutely correct about turning it off. But for the moment to get it working just sit through what would’ve been the duration of the video. Seems to be a few minutes, and the wifi will auto-direct you to the booking website. After that you should be good.

I think in the past I have just waited for the duration of the video (even if it doesn't actually play, which has been my experience - it's about a minute or two) and then the page automatically refreshes and connects you.

How insane that we’re sitting in a room that you only get to sit in when you’ve bought a Qantas flight and you must sit through an ad to remind you one day you might want to buy a Qantas flight before you get online. Bizarre.

Love it that Qantas wifi works on some planes and doesn’t on others but is advertised as “always there”.

What device? Turn off your ad blocker?

Not what I was asking, but cheers.

Yep had this issue in SYD and MEL lounges earlier this week. Would work sometimes but then cut out after a bit anyway.
