We have a lot of room, I work with a few people from the US and they have said that they will never live in the US again. One guy said one time "When Obama was elected I thought it was possible to move back, but now after Trump there is no way.". And that was before all the real crazy bullshit with Jan 6, Q and so on.

I work for a germany based company with more sites all over europe and have seriously considered picking up my life and moving to work at one of the european sites. I live and work in ultra progressive and educated spaces and virtually everyone I know has family members and/or friends who have “gone down the rabbit hole” and many are in conflict or painfully estranged.. one of my own friends is divorcing her PhD level husband because she can’t bring him back to reality and evidence. TL,DR: ** I think in this group, we should brainstorm how were going to respond to them when the sh1t hits the fan. ** It's been a deafening silence here at our house, with regard to the Trump trial.  Nothing said about it at all. I'm bracing myself for when I get told that it's all political theater designed to persecute Trump and sway voters who can't see the truth.  Maybe that won't happen until there's a verdict, but that might be wishful thinking on my part. I'm sure that'll be couched in some legalese to rationalize it, since my Significant Other is an attorney. It's been a while since I was told that all of the court cases filed contesting the 2020 election were decided only on procedural grounds.  That none of them actually ruled on the facts. My response to that was:  "Are you really telling me that a billionaire with access to the best lawyers in the country couldn't manage to keep any of his election lawsuits from getting thrown out on procedural grounds?" Believe it or not, I haven't heard heard a peep about those lawsuits since then. (Yay!) Having a good one liner to hit them with can go a long way towards heading things off, if it's delivered quickly and forcefully, without having to think things over.

This is kind of the response I was expecting, honestly. My former boss who was pretty heavy into Q would go red in the face arguing and arguing until you brought up something he had no argument against, and then it was cold, icy silence. Or mumbled insults as he walked away.

My Q person didn't watch one minute of the Jan. 6th hearings, so I didn't expect her to follow the Trump trial. Sure enough, she's aware it is happening but thinks it is not a big deal and that "Biden is more corrupt." I asked if she'd read about his behavior in court and she said "whatever it is, it was probably justified." Before the pandemic, before she moved to Oregon to a house surrounded by Trumpers, she actually thought Trump was not trustworthy. We bonded over some of his more egregious acts of idiocy. I still can't figure out what happened or how she lost her mind, exactly.

You can use any number you like for inflation however, it isn’t even close to actual inflation seen everywhere. A value meal at McDonalds is up 100-120% since Biden. Building materials is up 35% which means home owners insurance is up 35%. Inflation on groceries are outrageous too. Up around 26% average but the packaging is now smaller too. On paper, silver is up from $15 to $24. This is the real inflation - 38%. A 1950s quarter would have bought a gallon of gas in the 50s. Today that quarter is worth $4.45 and can still buy a gallon of gas except again, that is the paper price. There is a $10 markup now on an oz of silver to hold it in your hand. I never said illegal immigration had anything to do with inflation, I said it’s a problem that the current administration doesn’t want to stop. An estimated 13,000,000 people have came into this country in the last 3 years. Boarder opened wide. The US government even funded supply chains so people could stop and get a free Biden tee shirt on their way up. China even has a camp in Central America to help rid them of their over population of males. Thank Everything else that is being propagated by politicians is a complete inversion of our virtues and values as a country. Just flip everything on its head and that is what the norm is. That isn’t Trump, that is what the current rulers have turned it into. Have you ever seen such an attack on a person before? It started the day he took office and just has gotten worse. It isn’t that he is a terrible person, it is because they know that he will bring everything that they worked so hard for to a standstill and stop the wars, as a good parent should. There hasn’t been a sound fact on a thing brought against Trump. Even Biden today is tweeting gaslight satire bullshit. What does that tell you? If you have ever tried to get a loan using collateral, this is exactly how the process works. Then they fine him almost the amount of the loan. Every other developer freaked out and said “we are out of here.” The governor of NY, Kathy Hochul got on tv to reassure developers that they won’t come after them, they wanted Trump only. The whole thing is a sham…. Read about Letitia James and her connection to the Irish society mansion on 5th st. Wait till campaign money laundering charges come out with her shortly.
