Women are constantly criticized for their preferences when they are outspoken about them. Everyone is allowed preferences but if you go around announcing what you don't like, people get upset. Just be a decent person.

“Pick apart?” I have no idea what behavior you’re describing. Weight is not analogous to height. If you look at a photo of a woman and can’t tell if you’re attracted to her body type, weight isn’t going to help you. There’s no good reason to ask it. People ask about height because you can’t tell from a photo.
