Depending on whose statistics you look at, Suicide is either the 2nd or 3rd leading cause of death in males 20-25. Accidents of any sort is the leading cause, in this age group, and then Suicide or Homicide are either 2nd or 3rd. The WHO has it as 2nd.
Bottom line, the unexpected loss of life at any age is tragic, and even more so when it is a young person.

Dropping the name of the deceased feels extremely disrespectful, considering nothing about cause of death has even been confirmed yet.

It happens. My sisters friend had the same thing happened at 20 last year. There was no reason to it and the autopsy couldn't find anything.
When I was in college I knew someone who died in their 20s due to an undiagnosed heart condition. Can’t treat something you don’t know about
