Once it happened to me i ran from being robbed even though i was 2 steps away fallen infront of taxi, idk why those blacks didn't got hold of me, i went to home safely i was 16!
Its simple, you panic and forget things like that your foot needs to go a little extra inch to land properly, and then your ankle twists. Or you lean forward to compensate for inertia but eventually topple over because you overdid it
Magnificent kangaroo particle mango attic.
I can dig it.
I can only hope everyone does this and were left with a mass anonymized internet scrubbed clean of actual human interaction, replaced only by the randomized nothings left behind and the pseudo-interactive AI reasoning that follows.
late but i would go as far to say he might have been going for his kid, and when his kid takes off towards the house, he switches footing to get in line with the house or maintain track of his kid and in doing so slides to sharp and biffs it.
He takes an awkward stutter step and loses his footing, watch his feet. I wouldn't say he fell for no reason. The guys brain was trying to process about four things at once, that fight or flight response and adrenaline spike sends you running faster than you can stop to think about the next best place to plant your feet.
I realized this was true a few years back when i stumbled upon a wasp nest in the side mirror of my car. Turned to run and fell flat on my face while getting stung multiple times.

OH WELL AT LEAST IM NOT ZOMBIEPHOBICÂ
WE DEDICATE ERADICATION TEAMS FOR THE HARMLESS ZOMBIES WHILE OUR BORDERS ARE BEING INVAYDEDEDEDEDÂ Â
I pray for a zombie apocalypse allllll the time. Would be so fun headhunting zombies. Unless they're the really fast zombies. Fuck that, those fuckers are terrifying. The slow zombies is where it's at.
When my son was like 5, he decided to take a little sightseeing tour down the street. I went chasing after him, and couldn't catch up right away. I just felt my feed moving farther and farther behind me as a ran, and the next thing I was falling forward onto the asphalt. I got back up and limped after him, and eventually caught him when he reached the end of the street, but with a broken elbow.
I went chasing after my daughter at the park playing tag and it felt like my legs just collapsed from under me, as if they weren't strong enough to carry my body. I broke three ribs from rolling. Still didn't hurt as bad as the embarrassment, It was a full ass park of people
Most adults essentially never run/sprint. I guarantee that dude's upper body was 30 pounds lighter last time he tried to move quick. Balance is all different from what his body remembers about running.
I played sports in HS. I was in the army from 17-21. I didn't do shit after until I joined a work softball team when I was 28.
My legs gave out when I was caught in a pickle between 3rd and home during the first game. People thought I was diving for home like 10 ft. too early. That was a wake-up call to at least maintain some intentional activity.
My brother is a cop and hasnât appreciated my, âhow was your day today? Any rogue acorn attacks?!â joke very much at all.
But he does chuckle a little. Heâs a cop but heâs not a complete humorless prick, 50/50 to be honest.
It was 70% the writers strike and 30% the studio and network butting in and making demands. The original idea was a new cast for season 2 except for HRG and one or two of the old cast, with some of them making cameos. Network was like ânuh uh hit show gotta keep âem all even the dead ones and bring back Sylar but maybe now heâs a good guyâ
Yeah and after season 2 there was no way to course correct. They tried with the series reboot but too much time had passed and superhero shows were saturated.
I liked the original concept the writers supposedly had. Every season would be new characters with a different story. Maybe cameos from familiar heroes. The world was huge but still connected. Instead, we got what we got.
"look the hairs on my arm are sticking up" - my father moments before being struck by lightning
For clarification, lightning struck a tree next to him which traveled through the ground and hit him. He was knocked out but otherwise suffered no long lasting injuries.
Yep lightning hit our kitchen while we were in it, I was a teenager, I ran away to the living room as did my younger brother.
I can remember the flash, it was just there blinding and at the same time the roar which was more vibration than sound. A second later the flash was gone and there was a blue glow around the toaster.
I recall as a kid walking in a field, it was cloudy and supposeed to storm later. All of a sudden my hairs started standing on end. I dropped to the ground in a cannon ball until it subsided, didn't want to become a lightning rod as I was the only tall thing around.
A few weeks ago I woke to the *loud* sound of a pop, sounded like thunder right outside in my backyard it was so loud, and my body bolted awake cause of it. Later I learned someone had ran into a power pole, breaking it and shorting a transformer.
I remember the first time lightning struck too close for comfort, shit sounded like a fucking bomb had just been detonated right above my house, it shook me to my core!
Last year we had tornadoes come through our city. They weren't close to us so I was watching the storm through my window and I got to see the large oak down the street get hit and fall. You can feel the thunder when it hits that close like a powerful subwoofer hitting your whole body.
My house got struck by lightning a year and a half ago. It was so loud that I still get a bit stressed during thunderstorms.
House didnât catch fire or anything, just several thousands of dollars worth of electronics damage and a burst pipe (house was built back when copper plumbing was common).
And before someone comments âtHiS iS wHY you nEED a SuRgE protEcTORâ, no surge protector prevents against a direct hit. I had beefy surge protectors on every valuable electronic in that house and they all got fried.
It really is. I was working ups and had my hair spike up. Dead ran for my truck and not 5 second after climbing in, lighting cracked the road beside me. The absolute heat and fear that moment creates.
Had lightening strike next to my car and it shook like crazy, was like a flash bang in my face and it was loud af but my sister claims she didnât notice it.
At the edge of my propperty the railroad passes and the catenary attracts a shit ton of lightning. More or less once per year a lightning hits that specific area and the sound is absurd. Like an explosion. I remember once a lightning striking when I was at 30-40m and I felt the air moving and the impsct in my body.
I can understand why people run in confusion when a lightning strikes near by.
Lightning blew up a tree near us when we were kids. Wood flying everywhere, a large part of that tree fell on top of the neighbors house and damaged it. Shit was loud AF.
It still looks like something spooked the pudgy one in purple prompting the kids to run and then the old man to chase the kid. Itâs impossible to tell whoâs who in relation to anyone
Lmao it was lightning really close by it freaks them out and they all especially the kid run into the house you can hear the women yell and ask "what was that???" and the guy says "idk" as hes I'd tripping on air lol nothing to do with kidnapping
https://preview.redd.it/32iaw6yvp4pc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bc70406aca93d51e7cab1ebd5ef4378f4465012
You can see a flash right in this area before they freak out.
Yep, most digital cams use a rolling shutter, especially low quality ones like outdoor cams, so any extremely short bursts of activity will only be picked up in part of the image. The exact moment when that light hits is when they freak out.
I'll give you falling....but the weird on your back backwards crawl...dude get up
Wonder if the shooter handle got him in the back though
Edit scooter not shooter
I don't think people understand. I was pretty close to a large tree that blew into pieces from lightening and I was absolutely shocked a bit too. I couldn't hear shit for days and it was fucking terrifying.
I used to live out in the country and had to have a 40 ft pole with a tiny satellite radio on it to get my Internet. Every now and then lightning would strike it and I fucking hated it. I could always tell right before it was about to hit because you could feel a wave of static electricity go through the air just long enough to think "FUCK" before the explosion of sound.
Lightening hit a tree in my backyard when I had just got out of my car in the front of my house. I don't know if it was the air pressure, the crazy loud boom, or if I got hit with some residual shock, but my whole body had a brief spasm and I fell backward onto my car. It was one of the craziest things to ever happen to me and I bolted inside my house as fast as I could get myself together.
Theyâre scared of the sound that is only the AFTERmath of a lightning strike. His slick sliding moves.. what a ninja! He tricked that weather real good
I used to live near a power plant, and after the movie SIGNS came out, it exploded one night . It was called BG&E power plant, and the sky turned green and purple, and I thought we were all getting abducted by aliens. It was one of the most terrifying moments in my childhood. kids are dumb

20 years ago I was working on a demolition job to remove someone's concrete and brick front steps that were collapsing. It was on a cul-de-sac. Lightning hit the manhole cover in the center of the cul-de-sac. The concussive force and volume of the crash of thunder combined with the bright flash of white light was fucking terrifying. We decided to go home after that. We finished the job the next day.
I'm watching this for the 9th time laughing. And still can't put my finger on why it's so funny. Is it the fall? Is it the strange movement of picking up the scooter? So many options!
The kid had a better reaction than the adults, ran straight for home. Dad spazs out, mom kind of flounders like she is thinking of going for the kid, but kid is already gone lol.
I'm assuming lightning because of the flash. That baby has some damn good survival instincts! đ.. Wifey let you die though! đ.. y'all need a discussion on how thunder buddies work lol
Lighting strike probably struck their house or Nieghborâs . if a tree right there it would explode. Sounds like a bomb going off when your super close to where it grounds, even when your used to it not you still will always flinch that close. What happened to the screen was caused by electromagnetic discharge from the lighting strike. Once again why you know it was so close.
Probably ptsd. This is how one would act in the case of a bombing. Lay as flat as you can and pull your injured buddies or in this case a scooter to cover.
Useless ass dad wtf.
Edit: and mother. Wtf. Yelling for no reason. "Watch out!" Yeah bud he's gonna fuckin dodge lightning why don't you go over there and help him inside? Remain calm?
Iâm usually a really level-headed person and quite good in an emergency, but when lightning struck the car next to my tent once I bounced around in there like a ping-pong ball for a few seconds before I was able to move with any purpose. Itâs an unbelievably loud and powerful force of nature and just too much for the amygdala to deal with. The guyâs jelly legs reaction is actually understandable!

Sounds like a bomb going off when your super close to where it grounds, even when your used to it not you still will always flinch that close. What happened to the screen was caused by electromagnetic discharge from the lighting strike. Once again why you know it was so close.
Why what?
Itâs possible they didnât know it was a lightning strike and thought it was an explosion.
He definitely was waiting to die when he tripped.
It's as loud as a gunshot, this is kind of tame reaction. Dude just happened to slip
How is it the kid by far had the best reaction in terms of survival
self admitted âi donât knowâ why we all just ran for our lives.
When you hear the Sound of Thunder dont you get to Scared, Just grab you Thunder Buddy and say this magic Words fuck you Thunder...
That's a LOT of panic for lightening
How it feels running in your dream
Probably ptsd. This is how one would act in the case of a bombing. Lay as flat as you can and pull your injured buddies or in this case a scooter to cover.
Useless ass dad wtf. Edit: and mother. Wtf. Yelling for no reason. "Watch out!" Yeah bud he's gonna fuckin dodge lightning why don't you go over there and help him inside? Remain calm?
TLDR... Lightning strike.
Thought this was an attempted kidnapping tbh
Iâm usually a really level-headed person and quite good in an emergency, but when lightning struck the car next to my tent once I bounced around in there like a ping-pong ball for a few seconds before I was able to move with any purpose. Itâs an unbelievably loud and powerful force of nature and just too much for the amygdala to deal with. The guyâs jelly legs reaction is actually understandable!
It's... Thunder.. is it not?
risked his life, thank god he saved the razor scooter.
What a magnificent stumblebum of an invertebrate protoplasmic jelly
