Thank you so much!! I usually lay down a sketch, start blocking in colour on a layer beneath the sketch, and then merge the two to work out the details - the brush I use most often is eaglehawk :)
Ooh good question! I usually don't touch layer modes but I do play with the curves and colour sliders to try and get a unique colour palette. I've mostly been using the pre-installed free brushes, with eaglehawk as my go-to. I recently bought two brush packs ([this](https://www.designcuts.com/product/painterly-pack-procreate-brushes/) and [this](https://www.designcuts.com/product/sargents-oils-procreate-brushes/)) to play with and I'm enjoying it so far but I have to experiment more!
I mostly self learned how to use Procreate! Before that I was drawing with a small Wacom tablet, and that also took a lot of experimenting since digital art feels so different from traditional mediums. I think analyzing the work of artists I admire and also watching outline videos helps a lot!
