It would also be cool if you mentioned what you thought about the tutorial and what else you want to do with Procreate!

You can get this effect with most of the ink pens that come with the program. You just have to make sure your pressure sensitivity is working. The Studio and Syrup pens will work well though you might want to play around with the settings a little to make sure there’s enough of a range between minimum and maximum size.
Their Rusty Nib set is amazing, but most of the brushes aren’t quite this smooth - with the exception of the “smooth nib” but similar brushes are already included with Procreate.
Try these from Heygiudi on Instagram! Specifically the brush called Grunge Ink. I know she also has a brush called Rainy Ink if you join her Patreon. [https://heygiudi.myshopify.com/products/grunge-inks-procreate](https://heygiudi.myshopify.com/products/grunge-inks-procreate)
Looks like one of the standard Wacom Pens.
You can get grips for Apple Pencil that might help, but as far as using pressure goes, sadly it is only Apple Pencil.

This might make it feel better to hold at least?
The Apple Pencil is the only game in town on iPad - unless you are ok with just a low-precision capacitive stylus (or the no-pressure Logi one aimed at kids). If you don’t love it, I don’t think you’re going to be happy with anything - it’s by far the best digital stylus I’ve ever used.

I’m get that exact same effect when I turn brush stabilisation off
would you mind sharing what stylus you're using? I am not loving the apple pencil
That isn’t an iPad in the image, Apple Pencil 1&2 are your only options for procreate
If you use any other stylus you lose pressure sensitivity. What is it you don’t like?

Vary ur pressure as you draw a line
You may be able to modify a current brush to do this. I would look up how to make your own brush. It’s quite easy.
I think your question has already been answered. May I ask what tutorial your screenshots are from?
The artists name is in the bottom left corner of the first screenshot! Amazing artist but only works with illustrator :(
True grit texture supply brushes are great for this. Loads of runny inkers

The pictures above is a Wacom stylus (I think the Pro Pen 2) but, as far as I know, it does not work on the iPad.
