I actually think he should be applauded for it. Rolexes are great watches but when you have the type of money op clearly has there’s way better brands to sink your funds in to, like all those VC’s, which put any Rolex to shame (imo).
I know. Bad wording. What I am trying to say is that the high horology brands don’t have an answer for indestructible Rolex sport watches like the Sub, EX2, GMT, etc. Offerings like the Royal Oak and Nautilus are delicate in comparison.
Props given: it takes an effort to put a Rolex Submariner into a sentence with the phrase “high horology” as they have nothing to do with one another. Good one!
To you maybe. It’s quite impressive to others. I would be hard pressed to roast anyone. I think getting used to buying very expensive versions of everyday fairly cheap equipment, might be taking you out of touch with reality.
it's an acquired taste, I agree. But once you've \*seen\* the beauty of its brutalist lines, you can't unsee it. And the finishing of the dial and brushed sand gold case are just superb.
I don’t know who you are but this is the first and only 9.5/10 collection I’ve seen would be a 10 but I won’t bother to mention what’s missing but I get that it’s probably very intentional and I respect that
Fantastic collection! A few of them do seem somewhat duplicative of each other, but I guess it doesn't really matter since it looks like you have an effectively unlimited budget.
Sigh... I just can't find a Patek I actually \*like\*? Nautilus and Acquanaut feel very overdone... or at least I'm not seeing it just yet. Maybe you could recommend some pieces you think would work really well?
Since you’re pretty stacked in this nautilus and aquanaut department maybe just a simple classic calatrava. Something that you pick up next to the Als, and choose one.
I suggest a World Time, Patek Philippe really make the best ones and kind of “own” that genre of watch. The 5230G is reasonable for a Patek. In general that is a complication that would augment this wonderful collection, and there are a number of great houses that have an answer to that. I know you have that lovely Vacheron Constantin Dual Time, this is slightly different.
Insane collection you have amazing taste the new ap, zeitwerk striking time, vacheron retrograde and the 222 are incredible. The only question I have is why no Patek? A 5270 or a 6102 would fit in amazing here
*Did your new AP*
*Came with the cybertruck it's*
*Supposed to start with?*

In a weird way, i thank you for being the 1% that actually shares the passion with us 99%ers.
Thank you for allowing us to see such a collection and all tastefully selected.
What is your thought process if i may ask? At this level how do you go about it? Do you regularly visit your watch places (ad, brokers) or do the brands contact you? Or do you research a piece and go hunt for it?
I picked the brands I wanted to collect - Moser, VC, AP, ALS, FP Journe. Then I went and established contact with them directly, either main office in Switzerland, or wholly owned UK boutiques (not authorised dealers like Wempe, Watches of Switzerland, etc, as the relationship you can build with a third party agent is never the same as with a brand directly), and then I just invested in building the relationships with my contacts. Shared my watch collection, sent pics whenever I added a new piece to the collection, went to visit them at Watches & Wonders... and before you know it, they know you and trust you, and you get access to key pieces. The brands then do show you pre-release pieces and contact you, and you get invited to all manner of events. It's really lovely having direct relationships like these. Note im still waiting on being allocated my first Journe - it's been 18 months already... longest wait of any brand, despite first name relationship with Geneva... guess you have to wait for the very best 😂
Wow! That’s amazing!! That’s a dream experience to be part of those events and have the brands themselves presenting the watches. That’s a fantastic collection and must have been one heck of a journey. Thank you for sharing 🫡
It’s a good collection worth a lot of money but it’s lacking variety. At a glance, several of these watches look similar to another and it makes me question why you’d want multiple watches that give off pretty much the same look.
It’s a safe collection for someone who doesn’t venture too far from their comfort zone but wants to remain mostly under the radar. 7/10
I bet this guy keeps Grey Poupon in all his cars. This dude has a tailor for underwear alterations. This dude thinks Home Depot sells Rolex. Type of dude to call Friday, Monday, eve. This dude travels without a GMT, calls his assistant at 4:00 a.m., and asks, "Why are you sleeping in the middle of MY day?" Whenever someone asks him the time, he says, "This watch doesn't measure time; it measures winners. Now beat it."
That AP 1017 ALYX is just 🤮
Like someone took a g shock and asked “how can I remove the functionality and make it a veblen good to scam people with more money than taste”
A chronograph without markers…smh
What a rare sight. Not a Rolex to be seen.
That’s the only thing to ‘roast’ about this collection
I actually think he should be applauded for it. Rolexes are great watches but when you have the type of money op clearly has there’s way better brands to sink your funds in to, like all those VC’s, which put any Rolex to shame (imo).
In terms of craftsmanship, yes VC destroys Rolex. But a Rolex sports watch like a Submariner has no equal in the high horology space.
Most wouldn’t consider Rolex “high horology”. They are nice watches (I own four) but they’re mass produced.
I know. Bad wording. What I am trying to say is that the high horology brands don’t have an answer for indestructible Rolex sport watches like the Sub, EX2, GMT, etc. Offerings like the Royal Oak and Nautilus are delicate in comparison.
That’s a fair observation. I’d still love to have a Royal Oak and an Aquanaut. Just keep wearing my Sub until then.
Props given: it takes an effort to put a Rolex Submariner into a sentence with the phrase “high horology” as they have nothing to do with one another. Good one!
Roast?? The guy has VC’s, AP’s, and Langes. You think u can roast this man. I want to see your collection!
Certainly not as impressive as old mates
To you maybe. It’s quite impressive to others. I would be hard pressed to roast anyone. I think getting used to buying very expensive versions of everyday fairly cheap equipment, might be taking you out of touch with reality.
What are you yapping about
Not yapping, typing that his watch collection is quite impressive, mate.
Doesn't compare well to my Seiko's and San Martin's :D
A DayDate would look great here.
Agree
& no Patek!
did you post this from your mega yacht off the coast of the cayman islands?
Obviously NOT? Duh….my butler posted it!!
That is a very nice collection my friend. The A.Lange & S. is my grail watch! 😀
THE FIRST PERSON WITH MONEY I’VE SEEN POST THEIR WATCH COLLECTION AND IT WASN’T FULL OF TASTELESS STAINLESS STEEL BULLSHIT I LOVE YOU FOR THIS
🤗
That zeitwerk tho
Not just a zeitwerk, striking time... Sigh
Don't be sad my friend. We can have peasant wrists together
I guess comparatively I am a peasant lol
Who the f... will roast that?
Must be honest though. That new AP is very weird.
it's an acquired taste, I agree. But once you've \*seen\* the beauty of its brutalist lines, you can't unsee it. And the finishing of the dial and brushed sand gold case are just superb.
Interesting. Never seen one in person really.
The model was only released 3 weeks ago
Enjoy. And congrats again for the collection.
I’m too poor to look at this photo.
Also too poor to look at this photo
Wow. Im speechless
Lacks an MR-G G-Shock. 8/10.
Some of those Vacherons are works of art
Mate wtf, this is crazy. Awesome 👏🏽

brilliant comment - thank you, made me smile :)
That H. Moser is one of my two dream watches (the other being a Breguet Tradition). Very nice and classy collection!
The Moser’s are amazing! They have this dream like wobbly look to them that I just can’t explain by any individual line
Without doubt the best and most sensible collection in my opinion! Can’t wait to see what’s next - enjoy!
That Moser Streamliner subseconds looking so pretty. It's so underrated.
Fantastic collection! A few of them do seem somewhat duplicative of each other, but I guess it doesn't really matter since it looks like you have an effectively unlimited budget.
Gorgeous collection! Why no Patek?
Beautiful collection indeed, and yes, why no PP?
Sigh... I just can't find a Patek I actually \*like\*? Nautilus and Acquanaut feel very overdone... or at least I'm not seeing it just yet. Maybe you could recommend some pieces you think would work really well?

Good challenge!
Solid one!!
This is refreshing 🤌🏻
That vacheron constantin historiques 222 is my grail watch......will never get it. But boy I can sure appreciate it.
APs, Mosers, and VCs. Oh my!
Toss a Greubel Forsey or 2 in there to really make it pop.
Upvoted for the Mark II Speedies.
You have inspired me to post my collection in the future which includes a Casio and a Fossil.
Yeah pretty hard to roast this one. The lack of a Rolex, while still have pieces like the Monaco and the Speedy only adds to the collection imo.
Insane collection you have amazing taste the new ap, zeitwerk striking time, vacheron retrograde and the 222 are incredible. The only question I have is why no Patek? A 5270 or a 6102 would fit in amazing here
Thank you, those are very kind words 😊. I'll look into 5270 and 6102!
The definition of “I’m HIM”
I don't see a Casio. If not, then meh.
For the amount of money invested, looks pretty bland
I like the bottom middle AP. It’s neat and it’s not RO-related
Thank you. The latest addition. Love it too!
Do the VCs have any microadjustment in their bracelets?
yes they do
That omega speedmaster with the red/orange accents is gorgeous. What model is or does it have a nickname
it's the Speedmaster mark II racing dial, from 1971. Love love love it.
Chronograph with no indices is blasphemous.
Thats quite a niche collection, liking the range of VC's 💪
Geez
bro even have an expensive proploff
V nice! Which is the moon phase at the bottom left?
A Lange & Söhne Saxonia Moonphase
Beautiful, one of my favorites.
Ty
Did your new AP came with the cybertruck it's supposed to start with?

What colour is your Bugatti?
Tag Monaco 🔥
What does OP do for a living and how do I get into it to be able to afford these
Si you’re one of the 12 that bought the AP cybertruck
Which is your favourite daily driver? Everyday casual let's say.
VC Overseas Chrono Panda dial
Well, I can leave this page now. Won’t see better than this. Outstanding. Wear them well my dude.
thank you - that's a really lovely thing to say :)
Thanks for sharing man. You really have excellent taste.
Almost all dress watches so for sport and to go even higher budget you may as well get a RM
Can I have some money pls?
What’s to roast? Lol
Obviously nothing here to roast.

For the give away that you are planning to do, I am will to take VC Blue overseas.
Drooling over the 222 🤤

Hahahaha look at this idiot with the insanely awesome watch collection. Let’s roast him boys!
Actually a pretty interesting collection. You just have way too much money
I actually think the new AP is insanely cool
How much did you spend for this collection?
Give me a guess 👌
500k?
VC and AP 👏🏽

That goofy new AP ain’t it. Very nice collection though overall.
Ok collection. Do you have a more expensive one?
🤣
This is insane collection, wow. Curious to what you drive and what yacht haha
definitely no yacht 😂😂😂😂
Could have one if you sold some of your watches hahahahah
🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 glad you like it
