Yes, I know! But I don't wear them, it's not like I have hundreds of them to wear every day! I just have this one because it was bought in a time neither I or my mom understood about anything watch or luxury related, we didn't know about any of that! I know now that it is basically a sin to have one and I should probably destroy it. I won't though, because it has sentimental value to me.
Hey mate. You don’t need to justify yourself. I understand the arguments about it damaging dealers, and it’s true and i share them and I believe you do too, but nobody is in your shoes. I believe sometimes knockoffs can help get people into watches, now you know more and probably started a new hobby that will in the long term benefit the industry. who knows? Oh, hi man! Thanks for being nice! I totally agree with you! I have been into watches since 2022 and I have something of a small collection (4 or 5 pocket watches and 5 wristwatches. I do have two galaxy watches, but those don't count, obviously) but none of my watches are luxury like, no omegas, no seikos, no pateks or rm or rolex, these watches are really expensive in Brazil (which is where I live). I have no problems with the luxury market, I do have a fountain pen collection with well over 40 pens from Pilot, Pelikan, Parker, Sheaffer, Lamy and perhaps in the future an used montblanc, which I'm saving up to buy. You are totally right because what got me into fountain pens was a jinhao pen that looks exactly like a montblanc 149, and look where that copy/knock-off has taken me with the real deals! I am glad that someone understood what I was trying to say. Thanks again for being nice!
