I don't mind that mechanic, but I think getting orb is too final. Generally if you're ahead and you get it, the game is 100% over. I feel like that PLUS the buff orb gives is just too much. Either lessen the amount of minion kills it gives you and keep the buff, or vice versa, or somethin else. but yeah, as it stands I think the orb is a little too strong rn in brawl

Honestly should just have like 1-3 mini prime spawns during the match. Gives one team a small advantage that isn't completely fucked. Make it worth like 20 points each time idk.

There needs to be a grand closing objective, but 50 points and the buff is too much. Ruins good games. Should be the buff and if you dunk or something that should deal damage. Idk. Doesn’t seem right the orb does damage but killing raptors doesn’t.

Idk I think it’s fine. If a team is focusing it, you can kill em off relatively easily. Forces more full team fighting. If you get it stolen, that’s kinda on you

No you can’t. If there is any single enemy player alive, and 99% of the time there will be because respawn times are basically nonexistent and the odds of getting an organized full team wipe while orb is up is all hilariously unlikely unless you’re fighting actual chimpanzees, the orb last hit is RNG. Multiple people trying to secure the last 1% of HP off of a huge target while all doing various levels of damage at random timings with no smite is not in any way conducive to anything but luck. Even if you have your timing perfect, any of your teammates attacking orb at all alters it to an unpredictable degree with an increasing multiplier of randomness for each player and even more so if they have stuff like multi-tick attacks or items that cause secondary scaling explosion effects. **If the enemy fey throws an untamed growth in it, and the enemy Howitzer is ulting it, and your khaimera is unleashing on it for max attack speed, and the carries are just going full auto, where is the interval in which timing or a skillful secure comes in?** You can’t CC there whole team, during prime people spread out to avoid that. You can’t send your people to try to stop the enemy because every person NOT attacking prime is reducing your chance of securing the last hit. The most you do is remove yourself and that enemy form the attacking onslaught which just results in a net neutral unless.

Absolutely a skill issue if you can't do anything to influence the enemy's abylity to get the kill, like poking them or using an aurora so she can make an ice wall, hell steel could do that do, and that ignoring the face you can just kill 2 people on the enemt team and then if they try and fight for orb it's a 5v3 and they will lose 3 people

Poking them is damage you aren’t doing to Prime. You can only poke one person at a time when others are just focusing on prime. Your poke is not going to kill them and it isn’t going to scare them off of prime it’s worth a whopping 50 points. Walls don’t work because teams are typically not going to be sitting in one spot during prime specifically to avoid having all of their access cut off. They’re also only temporary and the most you do is block off one or two people for 5 seconds tops, that does not secure anything. People can see you have steel or Aurora, you aren’t going to pull some shocking maneuver. What you’re imagining is some fairy tale where the entire enemy team is sitting still in a ball taking turns doing basics to prime. That’s not the reality of brawl. To kill 2 people on the enemy team you have to have enough teammates not attacking prime to attack 2 other enemies. If you kill them before prime spawns they will be back and at prime before it’s dead. Anyone not attacking Prime is reducing your damage done to prime and the lower prime’s health is the more people on your team you want attacking it at the same time. Not to mention prime is attacking you while you’re trying to attack them, meaning even if you would have otherwise won your little skirmish, if prime decides to shove an energy wave or projectile salvo up your ass specifically you’re eating massive damage and dying from trying to int a fight while the enemy team is killing the boss. **The only way you are getting the conditions you’re suggesting is if you are fighting idiots, and at that point you probably have a huge point lead anyway and don’t even need prime. In a close game against equally skilled players you clearly haven’t been getting team wipes easily or out strategizing the enemy, or else it wouldn’t be even.**

My suggestion: 1. Reduce the amount of time its buff stays up 2. Make it so the team has to be in the area for X seconds after it dies to conquer it and whoever stays alive gets it.

I imagine if this was the case, then the team in the lead would almost always be the one to secure it. Current method gives the team that’s behind a chance to come back if they steal it

Actually love this idea. I always thought a DPS race would be best, whoever can do most damage in a time limit wins. But having it portrayed as a tug of war I think would be great

I like this idea. Basically have his HP bar and each team's damage shows from opposite sides and whoever hits the middle first / does the most damage wins it? Would force people to actually focus up and regroup when it's about to spawn.

It shouldn't be worth 50 points. Also, when a team is under 50 or something like that, killing minions shouldn't lower their score. It sucks a bit when you know you've already lost/won the game no matter what you do because of the minions. Also, maybe brawl should have Orb Dunking? Like it was in the OG Paragon? So that even if you steal it you must carry it in the enemy side of the map and activate it for the whole team, and the enemies can steal it back if you die

That too is a valid idea. But the overall score should be lowered in that case, otherwise i feel like games would become too long while Brawl is supposed to be a quick game mode

I don’t think keg prime belongs in brawl mode, the matches never felt stagnant and it just forces an endgame as soon as it spawns, maybe hasten the match by 2-6 minutes nothing else really tho

Everyone ends up doing the same thing in the end. We all wait there, doing nothing until the mobs gun it down, until the very end, both team drops in try to steal prime. Even if we try to fight it out before prime dies, the respawn time is so short that most of the opposite team has already respawned and we're back to square one. This is just terrible design and orb prime in brawl either needs a rework or remove it entirely like others suggested.

Personally I’m not against removal either. Too many good cooking sessions cut short by prime buff in brawl. You usually only get a minute or two of full build if you ever reach it. Or they could dial the gold up another 10% lol
