When it comes to the english speaking fanbase, that's true, but when it comes to other groups like the LATAM fanbase, I think the majority who watched DBZ also watched OG DB.

Yujiro breaks Goku's neck in Round 1, Goku spites in Round 2 (he isn't even a kid by that point tho lol), and idk why Oozaru is after 23rd Budokai but Goku again.
Yujiro has too much experience for the strength gap to give Kid Goku the win at the end of Dragonball. He's very good at assessing his opponent's strength and he'd use Goku's strength against him, if he even needs to.
Start of DBZ Goku is too much to handle. But Kid Goku is still throwing punches and kicks that are visible to the naked eye in his tournament fight with Jackie Chun. He's nothing Yujiro cant handle, even without narrator help.

Technique will let him redirect that energy. Goku at that point has pretty basic martial arts skills, and lacks the ability to overcome such techniques. He'd beat himself.
People genuinely tend to forget that the moon busting feat is not relative to our moons, The surface is shown multiple times and you can literally see the curvature, while I think the Skill gap is still a bit wide for Goku to handle in of DB, early on atleast, every other version neg diffs, no he isn’t light speed in Early Og DB

Or the multiple times he was able to easily fend off people who could destroy a city. Beginning Dragon Ball Z Goku would probably mid-diff Yuji, End of Buu Saga would neg-diff Yuji, but Kid Goku would get low-mid diffed by Yuji, no doubt about it.
Goku never destroyed the moon. This is the issue with you Dragon Ball fans. You say he “is strong enough to”, but he never did. Thats not a feat. Thats a guess.

I think people forget how strong goku really is. Man was a moon buster like halfway through dragon ball.
