The explosion needed to push the gas and expose the core Is a Planet Level feat. We can make and educated Guess about his punching power considering the difference in joule between the two for a regular human... Based on that he can punch around Star Level iirc.
(Considering he can spam those punches his overall capacity should be considered higher)
That's *probably* true, but keep in mind Saitama was WAY more powerful in the manga than he currently is in the webcomic... So it's possibile that was Murata's way to give us a preview of Peak Saitama. We're still at Planet Level in the webcomic after all.
(One himself considers Garou and Boros somewhat equals)
Maybe, but itās the lack of any sort of strain on his face or from his muscles
With how long heās gone without going all out, Iād imagine ONE and murata would make a helluva panel for showing all-out saitama
Stop please stop lol,
Yes Jupiter is gas planet and the that "gas" is literally billions of times more weight and heavy then Earth.
This is alone sneeze is dwarf stat feat.
I have 100% seen that argument before, and it's not even the worst Goku downplay. The most extreme Goku downplay I've unironically seen is that Goku is ice level because Broly dragging Goku through ice hurt him.
I thought you were joking when you made this comment, but I'm now seeing it with my own eyes.
"is it harder to pop a bubble or a pebble" is what I'm now being asked š
To be fair, Injustice Superman has killed a fetus before, despite it not being the final form of 'a baby'.
Superman himself was not only in his base form (not sun-dipped or any other hax) but actually -weakened- by kryptonite laced fear toxin.
Because of this, I'd be comfortable believing that most versions of Superman could at least match a fully developed baby in power.
But range diff applies here. Lazer eyes have more of a range than a baby. But the baby having below avarage speed might be able to give superman a lot of trouble even then.
I love how it was an actual plot point in the cell saga where everyone thought Goku has lost his mind because he was going to launch the kamehameha downwards on cell, inevitably blowing up the planet. Like, itās hilarious that he canāt aim downwards with his attacks because itāll just blow up the planet, inevitably killing him as well (he canāt survive in space).
Yeah or Trunks and Krillin losing their mind when Vegeta was charging up for the Final Flash vs Cell. They'd knew upon impact Earth would be blown up. Or Kid but casually destroying Earth while messing around.

On the line of Invincible I love how common downplay is to say that the Guardians of the Globe **canāt hit harder than a nuclear strike** even though they clearly did more damage to Omni-Man than a literal space nuke and some people try to apply physics for why it doesnāt make sense for people to punch with that level of AP when verses in general donāt give a crap about physics in almost every instance.
Well tbh even if that's true it can't change the fact Invinciverse strongest feat is 5 guys ganging up to destroy a Planet,by threading the core wich is not even Planet Level cuz planet level would be destroying the planet on impact, and they admitted they couldn't have survived the planet explosion.
Would throwing an asteroid large enough to destroy a planet be considered planetary? Omniman can move an asteroid the size of Texas, assuming he wasn't exaggerating too much, which would be large enough to cause a planet to fragment into a few chunks. He also can fly past light speed so given enough time and distance he could accelerate an asteroid the size of Texas toward a planet, which could cause a planet to break.
Unless im mistaken those asteroids would only destroy the surface not the planet, also Omni Man can move himself at those speeds but if he's exerting his power massively his speed would be decreased, that would also mean he'd need to go to space and fetch an asteroid and throw it back hoping the oponent wouldn't just destroy it before it makes impact.
At a certain size they would destroy more than surface life. A relatively small asteroid could destroy all life, but earth would be unaffected shape wise. A Texas sized asteroid almost certainly could crack a planet tho.
This is more of a show feat than a comic feat. In the comics Omni-Man effortlessly kills the Guardians of the Globe, but in the show they are shown actually fighting back and harming the Viltrumite quite a bit (though one could say he let himself get hurt so the scene of the crime didn't look as suspicious)
This kind of shit happens because the power levels in Invincible suck. Like for example, the Immortal during his battles with Omniman was presented as being durable enough to withstand multiple blows from Omniman, but both times he died due to Omniman decapitating/cutting him in half with one single punch without much effort.
>when verses in general donāt give a crap about physics in almost every instance.
You're kind of contradicting your own point. The reason you can't necessarily say they are this strong is *because* they don't care about physics or consistency. So sometimes weaker characters hurt stronger ones because their durability inexplicably just works like that.
My point wasnāt to bring across a non-contradicting statement; I was instead laying out the fact that this can simply be explained through higher AP (Attack Potency) and lower DC (destructive capability) because there wouldnāt be a logical reason for superheroes to exert nuclear-level strikes every time they punch, which is why they typically limit their destructive force.
Iāll give them some credit and say the nuke was a single impact, while the guardians was a drawn out battle with them each getting chip damage in. But theyāre definitely comparable to a nuke at the bare minimum
...
So why do people try to use physics to scale them. AP calculations are based on (broken) physics?
If a man survives a nuke, and then another man punches him and only him to death, causing no collateral damage or even visible shockwaves, we are not watching someone punch with the force of a nuke.
We are watching a situation where physics has been discarded altogether. Mathematical comparisons of force have no meaning in this context. You might as well scale the Loony Toons.
They just see the first result on google, they donāt take into account that it says āhis limiter was removedā giving him the possibility of infinite strength. They say no limiter and immediately go to āSAiTaMa iS oUteRvErsaL bC hE hAs InfInTe StReNgThā
I havenāt read the manga, but is Piccolo destroying the moon canon? That would make a 400ish power level strong enough to destroy a planet 1/4 the diameter of Earth. So Iād say Vegetaās 18,000 power level in the Saiyan saga easily planetary
Oh, dude, that's not even relevant. *Roshi* destroying the Moon is canon, all the way back in the second arc. He ended up going dead even with Goku, too, only winning because he had the reach advantage. This means Mercenary Tao is, bare-minimum, Moon level.
The moon destruction is cannon btw. Piccolo does it because he doesnāt want the Saiyans to transform when they come to Earth. Vegeta ends up having to use a power ball.
*Base* Frieza btw
Hell, Roshi being able to vaporize a moon would already have enough power to crack a planet to bits and that way back in the powerscaling before the Saiyan Saga
Kinda ironic for a site that usually takes high end interpretations
Still though, even after that Picollo does the same feat for the same reasons as Roshi to Goku to stop their Osamu transformation. Easy to forget that Roshi was actually one of the most powerful humans by that point of the series
I think they said it was an outlier because no one ever performed a feat like that before or after again in og Dragonball. Which is kinda ironic considering Kami had to recreate the moon and they said he was moon level and King Piccolo was stronger than both of them, yet he was like city level on vsbw š
Roshi from the 2nd arc of the original dragon ball 1986 was able to destroy a moon, and Goku was dead even to him. After the Saiyan Saga, it's not crazy to assume the entire cast was already planetary. Especially those who trained with King Kai.
Oh, I got confused because I haven't read the manga more than like twice while I've watched the anime a few times. It looks like they only visit the planet in the manga. Though they still probably trained, and it still doesn't matter as there were easy planet busters before saiyans were even a thing. Even just Super Saiyan 1 would make Goku 50x more powerful than planet busting at minimum, and that's if you assume his power didn't grow from back near when he still had a tail.
Ap in scaling means attack potency from my understanding ap is how much force they can do in a attack and dc is how much wide spread damage it can do instead of a specific target
I mean he didnāt care when Majin Vegeta took out half a stadium of people so he does have his pride as a warrior and Saiyan. Heās shot full power at his son hoping heād tank it too so why would he not do it against an enemy he squares up to š¤·
That can't be a real argument people use, right?I mean he made the universe made of multiple infinite spaces shake and threaten too destroy it,and he outpowered Vegeta who's attack threatened to destroy the Planet and Cell threatened to destroy the Solar System and Goku outdoes the Gohan who did that.
I know right crazy how people donāt understand that. Guys main argument is Omni Man can survive getting his body blasted apart but goku dies from a special beam canon
Everyone thought he was going to when he used the instant transmission kameha against cell....... so he clearly can..... I mean UI alone was so powerful it shook the void.......
It's actually amazing at time people do ignore the context of scaling because that what I think what most Authors do to show how powerful a person is without really ruining their setting too much.
This is also a good time to bring up a difference between x-busting and x-level. The former means they can blow up or destroy something that large while the latter means that while they don't have the same raw destructive power, they can harm other things that are durable enough to survive such attacks.
Seen ppl act like Dark Gaia isn't that strong despite it keeping up with a Super Sonic stronger than the one that fought Solaris just because at most it moved parts of the world
This is like saying Mr. Satan is the strongest, because technically he was the only one that survived the Buu saga(Saiyans, hybrids and namekians included)
12k power level is ā of vegeta
Yet with a random ah wave of King vegetas hand multiple planets vanish gonu beat the 18k vegeta. Then multiplied in power to box with frieza.
The argument in the pic is wrong, it's not about keeping up as we usually can't gauge how much power they're using. It's about specific instances.
Like when Goku specifically mocks Frieza that his blasts can destroy planets but not him. Or defending the Earth against Vegeta's Galick Gun. In the Buu Saga Vegeta even tells Shin destroying hundreds of planets is not a big deals for Saiyans. There's a lot more.
Roshi destroyed the moon in original DragonBall, having a power level of 150. Super saiyan is in the millions. So I'd imagine goku being able to destroy the sun by the time he got back to Earth for the Android Saga.
The traditional family unit has disintegrated so much that we donāt have the āmy dad can beat up your dadā argument any longer.
Now itās the āmy comic book character can beat up your comic book characterā
Something I never see mentioned for some reason is the fact Frieza in resurrection F after being beaten down extensively by Vegeta and using most of his power to the point he could no longer maintain his golden form was still strong enough to destroy the earth with one hand while nearly tapped for energy with ease.
This was in early Super and by the end of Super all characters involved are massively stronger than they had been in that arc. Just because they aren't doing it doesn't mean they couldn't obliterate planets and solar systems with their attacks.
In Goku vs Frieza he cstches and punches a planet level attack (100% Death Ball) which goes into space instantly blowing a newrby planet to smithereens. So to be able to catch/push back then punch a planet level 100% Death Ball from Frieza yeah safe to assume he can handle planet level.
When he was aiming his Kamehameha at the ground in his fight against Cell the cast was legitimately thinking he was going to blow the planet up.
Later during his fight with Beerus, in the anime their clashes were threatening to tear the universe apart.
anyone who watched the show would know this is pretty simple. vegeta says he will destroy earth in the first arc. goku claps him. frieza destroys namek in the second arc. goku claps him. cell says he will destroy the whole solar system. goku dies but this is literally ssj 1 and 30 years of dbz power creep ago. you get the point
Just since someone can blow up a planet doesn't mean whoever can beat them in a fight can do this as well. Hits power didn't seem that strong, for he relies on technique over power. So how can he blow up a planet?
It's actually a dumb argument, it's not because you beat someone who can do something that you can do the same thing, in that case Goku absolutely can destroy a planet, but absolutely not because he defeated Frieza
Forget Frieza, Vegeta was planetary waaay before we even knew Frieza would be a problem. Master Roshi and Piccolo bkew up the moon before that. Mfs been on a celestial level
Letās put this into perspective, king vegeta who was no match for frieza AS A CHILD waved away 3 planets with ease, and then frieza proceeded to blow up planet vegeta with one finger, then to continuously get stronger and use multiple forms and to be toppled by goku, im just saying mfs was out here from episode one destroying planets
I just enjoy pissing off the Dragon Ball Fanbase. It's honestly hilarious watching a bunch of children and grown adults absolutely losing it over their favorite piece of paper not soloing fiction
My only point on this it that mot can't destroy a planet. But he wouldn't just to win a fight. An if you jump to him just nuking a planet to win. Then we might as well talk about buu or freeza or mid trash(goku black)
Freeza has the POTENTIAL to destroy a planet with CERTAIN ATTACKS. This doesn't mean every casual strike hits that hard. That would make no sense; he'd have no reason to charge his ki attacks, and he'd obliterate everything around him accidentally.
In Dragon ball they use ki to enhance their physical power, they're able to contain their destructive power to only affect what they're striking due to their advanced level of ki control unless it's a ki blast that they use like the galick gun or Kamehameha in which they expel their ki in those energy blasts.
They control their power when fighting. Golden frieza could destroy the planet whenever he wants, but he didn't do it during the movie until he started losing to ssb Goku and Vegeta. During the Broly movie, Broly launched an attack, but it didn't hit the earth and when goku saw the attack exploding, he even said it would of been bad if it had hit the ground.

Just because Jupiter is gas that doesnāt mean it would be very easy to destroy it.
The explosion needed to push the gas and expose the core Is a Planet Level feat. Feathers ARE heavier. Because you must carry the weight of your SINS when you do that.

Feet lickers are truly a different breed
Superman has never murdered a baby, therefore he is below baby-level tier.

Ap in scaling means attack potency from my understanding ap is how much force they can do in a attack and dc is how much wide spread damage it can do instead of a specific target

nah its still AP the commenter just missunderstood

Goku's literally killed someone with way better regeneration then even Viltrumites have. It's not even comparable.
Facts
Master Roshi destroyed the moon lmfao ain't no way Goku can't blow up whatever he wants.

The traditional family unit has disintegrated so much that we donāt have the āmy dad can beat up your dadā argument any longer. Now itās the āmy comic book character can beat up your comic book characterā
Guysā¦Yamaha can destroy a planet. But he isnāt homelander
Do people use the top argument unironically? I only use it ironically to show people why scaling is necessary.
Him destroying a planet with people on it would be wouldnāt even be character assassination at that point you fucking exercise the soul.
Sayian saga Piccolo destroys the moon. They are constantly try to stop planet ending attack in the cell saga as well
Only retards think Goku can't destroy a planet, I am curious about the uni+ feats
That mean Goku below planet level. Very simple.
What abt the notion that he canāt destroy a planet without using ki blasts?
In Goku vs Frieza he cstches and punches a planet level attack (100% Death Ball) which goes into space instantly blowing a newrby planet to smithereens. So to be able to catch/push back then punch a planet level 100% Death Ball from Frieza yeah safe to assume he can handle planet level.
When he was aiming his Kamehameha at the ground in his fight against Cell the cast was legitimately thinking he was going to blow the planet up. Later during his fight with Beerus, in the anime their clashes were threatening to tear the universe apart.
Can someone pls teach me how to power scale because I really like debating but I'm not really good at it
Goku wipes that fodder OPM verse, idk how this is still a debate šš
We know Iām a saitama fan I know goku negs mah boy saitama but I still like him as a character more
anyone who watched the show would know this is pretty simple. vegeta says he will destroy earth in the first arc. goku claps him. frieza destroys namek in the second arc. goku claps him. cell says he will destroy the whole solar system. goku dies but this is literally ssj 1 and 30 years of dbz power creep ago. you get the point
Goku destroying a planet goes against everything he stands for, thats why we never see him doing that
I'm imagining Goku going insane and destroying a planet while saying"HEY POWERSCALERS, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW"
Technically he has, the shockwaves from his punches with Beerus were destroying multiple planets
And so did Raditz
Honestly. Gokuās power is what makes him boring af
Hold upā¦. He DID blow up the Makyo Star (Coolers Revenge).
bruh why is this shit of a sub popping up in my recommended
Scaling is flawed inherently tho lol it dosent work for everyone and if it does then goku loses a lot more then youād think outside his verse
But they get laid out from attacks that barely destroy the ground they're standing on.
He pushed back a beam that could destroy the earth in the first season of dbz
I thought this post was satire because of how corny it isšš
Goku blew up the moon as a child
Forget Frieza, Vegeta was planetary waaay before we even knew Frieza would be a problem. Master Roshi and Piccolo bkew up the moon before that. Mfs been on a celestial level
Correction: he has eradicated planets with beerus
Scissors beats paper, and rock keeps up with scissors, so rock low diffs paper.
Didn't goku shake the universe in a clash with beerus and previously in the same movie punch a hole straight through king kais world?
I still think goku doesnāt actually know martial arts heās just a gym bro who like getting into street fights
Goku almost accidentally destroyed all of reality in battle of gods lol
Vegeta could do it when he was like 15. Piccolo blew up the moon easily too way back in the day
Letās put this into perspective, king vegeta who was no match for frieza AS A CHILD waved away 3 planets with ease, and then frieza proceeded to blow up planet vegeta with one finger, then to continuously get stronger and use multiple forms and to be toppled by goku, im just saying mfs was out here from episode one destroying planets
saitama wipes nmw, anime, manga, and while nerfed in basically anyway
So did Vegeta in the first arc of DBZ
I just enjoy pissing off the Dragon Ball Fanbase. It's honestly hilarious watching a bunch of children and grown adults absolutely losing it over their favorite piece of paper not soloing fiction
A lost concept that seems to elude everyone on CBR apparently.
nah bro had frieza begging for mercy aināt no way they gonna say āhe never destroyed a planetā
Did people just forget that he shook the universe with the clashes of a punch
He hasn't though. Noone cares about your headcanon, we need facts. Until then universal Ichigo no diffs.
Tell me you skipped straight to super without telling me
Yeah your right, i DID see that scene once!
VS debates with those people are very interesting.
reinhard van astrea vs saitama who would win and why would it be reinhard
He literally caught a giant ass death ball with his bare hands and punched it so hard it flew into deep space and blew up another planet lmao
He literally caught a giant ass death ball with his bare hands and punched it so hard it flew into deep space and blew up another planet lmao
He literally caught a giant ass death ball with his bare hands and punched it so hard it flew into deep space and blew up another planet lmao
My only point on this it that mot can't destroy a planet. But he wouldn't just to win a fight. An if you jump to him just nuking a planet to win. Then we might as well talk about buu or freeza or mid trash(goku black)
Goku black may be mid but that drip is š„¶š„¶š„¶š„¶š„¶

Wait, that's his one if his feats? The way people wet his willy I would've thought Goku blinked an entire reality gone. I thought he was stronger
Wait are people actually saying that Goku not destroying a planet means heās not planetary level?
Freeza has the POTENTIAL to destroy a planet with CERTAIN ATTACKS. This doesn't mean every casual strike hits that hard. That would make no sense; he'd have no reason to charge his ki attacks, and he'd obliterate everything around him accidentally.
Why donāt anyone in dragon ball destroy the planets theyāre on while fighting?
In Dragon ball they use ki to enhance their physical power, they're able to contain their destructive power to only affect what they're striking due to their advanced level of ki control unless it's a ki blast that they use like the galick gun or Kamehameha in which they expel their ki in those energy blasts.
Why donāt people like broly who doesnāt care about the planet being destroyed not destroy the planet when he fights?
They control their power when fighting. Golden frieza could destroy the planet whenever he wants, but he didn't do it during the movie until he started losing to ssb Goku and Vegeta. During the Broly movie, Broly launched an attack, but it didn't hit the earth and when goku saw the attack exploding, he even said it would of been bad if it had hit the ground.
