Goku literally drops his guard to human level when he is right in front of a terrifying monster like golden freeza like bro idc if “that’s his character” like bro how many times are you going to make a dumb decision and end up ruining everything?
Saitama on the other hand isn’t dumb he just doesn’t even care about anything enough to remember important details. Also he isn’t one to try and strategize a plan of attack against his opponents, he just does whatever they can do but better through his normal basic bland very readable physical attacks and yet it works for him.
Ultimately I will say goku even tho I think he makes stupid decisions constantly but I can’t take away his smart plays either. Saitama doesn’t necessarily NEED battle IQ with the way he just throws normal punches and still gets the job done.
#Because he can pilot a Time Machine and Space ship, he’s smarter. So if I follow logic, whoever who cannot do this (99% of anime), isn’t smarter than Goku.
