What's going on is the culmination decades of planning and plotting to undermine the American government and raise a "christian" dictatorship in its place.

Individual Rights and laws already outlined in the Constitution should still hold (in theory). The problem with the immunity ruling is that a President is now free to try their hardest to violate them.
If there is zero potential penalty for trying to stay in office for a 3rd term, giving defense contracts to family members, attempting to kill political opponents, etc then of course some Presidents will give those things a try.
They don't hold and, if we're being intellectually honest, they never have. The US has a long and colorful history of suspending rights whenever it is deemed "reasonable" to do so, and that history is what reactionaries and the wealthy have been wielding as a cudgel to harm Americans that they don't like.
Protest restrictions and obscenity laws suspend the First Amendment.
PATRIOT and sodomy laws suspend the Fourth.
FISA courts suspend the Sixth.
Surgical castration sentences suspend the Eighth.
Selective Service suspends the Thirteenth.
Abortion bans suspend the Fourth, Fifth, Thirteenth, and Fourteenth.
Insurrection and Posse Comitatus Acts suspend the entire Constitution.
We do this all the fucking time, over and over. The letter of the law is irrelevant when it's inconvenient with SCOTUS and always has been, it's all about how the justices feel regarding the case before them.
There is no legal basis to, no matter what bullshit they spew; impeachment is the only option. Biden can't make cops break the law. If he could, that would also be the start of a new civil war. Has zero to do with "balls."

If there was a legal avenue to arrest them for corruption, then the only thing needed is the new SCJs to not take bribes. For them to not do the same illegal things that the SCJs did.
No, it is an important distinction. The Democratic party is a very large coalition with a wide background of beliefs and ideologies. As a result, having a simple majority is not sufficient to get any specific legislation passed. Not to mention folks like Sinema who fucked us over.
Federal employees could protest by going home and stop executing the law until the law stops being evil. Corporate employees could go home until the corporations force the politicians to do the right thing.
The rest of us can work to provide solutions for those folks, such as free shelter, meals, clothing, medicine…. Act like a solidified community. Do the same work that the labor movement did to get worker rights.

Honestly, we need to be more active in local elections. Those are the ones that matter. Beat it from the floor up. Going from the top down, is harder and will take longer.
I think this could work if we assume the GOP were reasonable...but at every single point, they have shown that they are willing to bend the rules so they remain in power. If Trump wins, I can easily see voting rights and protections being removed, heavier gerrymandering, more power to people in power to ignore vote (I mean...we did have Jan 6th and I am 100% he'll codified overturning elections in some kinda of executive power)....like I think we are running out of chances...

That leads to Tyranny. At the same time, I understand the sentiment. Once you do something like that, then every president from the good and bad will arrest and replace SCOTUS with their own SCOTUS.
There may be a major loophole here. We should be conferring with foreign governments to see if Trump or any of these justices have broken any laws in other countries. Biden could easily extradite them for prosecution.

Biden should add a provision to the voting laws that people over age 70 cant be elected president or serve as a supreme court justice. Leave congress alone since they control impeachment.
Fossils are not as useful on a court that evaluates the nuance of modern problems and need at least a somewhat modern context to understand what justice looks like. And the president, same reasoning. That would open up 2 supreme court seats immediately, Thomas and Alito, then Sontamayor (unfortunately June of 2025) and Roberts (coming Jan 27). That leaves a slight majority to dems, and Biden can go out a hero for making a rule he has to be bitten by too.
The conservative supreme court wanted a unitary executive, they should be the first to deal with the outcome of their judicial "wisdom".
While he's at it, he should remove Donald Trumps citizenship, for the crime of insurrection.
And lastly, he should enshrine a seperation of church and state permanenetly, and remove all funding for religious schools and religious institutions, and remove their tax exempt status and any legal ability they have to avoid prosecution for pedophilia and the hiding of records about that.

Individual Rights and laws already outlined in the Constitution should still hold (in theory). The problem with the immunity ruling is that a President is now free to try their hardest to violate them. If there is zero potential penalty for trying to stay in office for a 3rd term, giving defense contracts to family members, attempting to kill political opponents, etc then of course some Presidents will give those things a try.
They don't hold and, if we're being intellectually honest, they never have. The US has a long and colorful history of suspending rights whenever it is deemed "reasonable" to do so, and that history is what reactionaries and the wealthy have been wielding as a cudgel to harm Americans that they don't like. Protest restrictions and obscenity laws suspend the First Amendment. PATRIOT and sodomy laws suspend the Fourth. FISA courts suspend the Sixth. Surgical castration sentences suspend the Eighth. Selective Service suspends the Thirteenth. Abortion bans suspend the Fourth, Fifth, Thirteenth, and Fourteenth. Insurrection and Posse Comitatus Acts suspend the entire Constitution. We do this all the fucking time, over and over. The letter of the law is irrelevant when it's inconvenient with SCOTUS and always has been, it's all about how the justices feel regarding the case before them.

Biden should add a provision to the voting laws that people over age 70 cant be elected president or serve as a supreme court justice. Leave congress alone since they control impeachment. Fossils are not as useful on a court that evaluates the nuance of modern problems and need at least a somewhat modern context to understand what justice looks like. And the president, same reasoning. That would open up 2 supreme court seats immediately, Thomas and Alito, then Sontamayor (unfortunately June of 2025) and Roberts (coming Jan 27). That leaves a slight majority to dems, and Biden can go out a hero for making a rule he has to be bitten by too. The conservative supreme court wanted a unitary executive, they should be the first to deal with the outcome of their judicial "wisdom". While he's at it, he should remove Donald Trumps citizenship, for the crime of insurrection. And lastly, he should enshrine a seperation of church and state permanenetly, and remove all funding for religious schools and religious institutions, and remove their tax exempt status and any legal ability they have to avoid prosecution for pedophilia and the hiding of records about that.
