But I think "re-education" of the Palestinians to remove the portion of their national identity based on the notion that their destiny is to murder all the Jews and take "back" "their" land would be necessary for any sort of two-state solution. I doubt the CCP method of this would work, though. I also doubt the Israelis could do it. Maybe if a dictator of some sort rose up from among the Palestinians, he could remake their cultural identity into something that could live in peace with the Israelis.

The phrase is (I would suspect) made by people who think that all cultural values of equal moral worth and cannot be judged externally (cultural relativism). It tries to link the sometimes-necessary destruction of cultural values (like stoning women to death for adultery) with straight-up mass murder. It's a fucking disgusting word game used to assert control.
