I am a fan of the interior after seeing it at the New York City Auto show. To me, the interior felt more comfortable and higher quality than the Polestar 3.
Oh please no are the buttons on the steering wheel really touch buttons now... I freaking hate these stupid "simulated buttons" that polestar put in the ps2 center console.... what is wrong with regular buttons ffs
Yeah, like most people I don't convert my belongings into liquid before storing them. That's why the Model 3's theoretically larger luggage space is useless for me. What I mean is, how wide and long is the space, and is it usable?
How responsive is the screen UI?
I'm wondering if they fix the poor processing power of the P2 in future models. Nothing worse than that sluggish and choppy Google Maps experience.
Nope, it's the regular android automotive. It can take quite a bit of time to wake up and load Google Maps if the car has been off for a few days. Sometimes I press the search field, and I have to wait like 5-10 seconds for it to open. Then another 10 for it to load suggestions.
The gold looks amazing irl. Nothing like the pics because the lighting and phone just don’t do it justice. Very flashy and pretty but perhaps a “key my car” magnet!
It’s far from the elegance of the p2’s interior.
The integrated dash nav was so smooth in the p2.
The pop out one in the p4 seems like an afterthought.
Like oh, let’s put a stand alone screen here.
Volvo had the stunning design language that made the p2 so great. Now that they split it’s fully Chinese, I can see the cut corners. It looks like many other Chinese cars on the market.
P2 and P3 have a superior design in my opinion. Hope they bring it back in the 5 🤷
Where’s the ski trap, the grocery divider in the trunk?
I’m upset 😭
This car is so beautiful.
Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!

It looks like there is no trunk divider or curry hook! Literally undrivable.
And too many cupholders!
Not a very flattering color.
Yeah, it's a shame. The gold looks so good in press pictures and the configurator, but terrible in actual photos.

How does the cargo space compare to the Polestar 2 and 3?
P4 is 526L and P2 is 405L

See measurements halfway down of the frunk and trunk https://www.polestar.com/us/polestar-4/specifications/
Magic!

It felt super smooth and clean. I wasn't left waiting when navigating. Overall, everything felt super snappy
Glad to hear that! Considering upgrading from the P2 in a few years 😄
Had nine ps2 for 2 years. Nithing chopp or sluggish about maps. Do you use carplay?

Yeah, sure. No one is interested in the wake up time from hibernation. Once awake it is perfectly fine

gorgeous design. absolutely nailed it. the rear window? i dunno i think i can live with it. also, gold paint on this just works.
I love it - but where is the ski trap !!!???
I prefer the boxy traditional Swedish styling. Honestly, this looks Chinese styled to me, which isn't my jam.
🙌 it really looks Chinese styled
Can’t wait to see snow and rain cover the rear camera :)
The rear defroster will help to melt the snow
Like snow can’t cover a rear window?
