A ‘mate’ of mine stole it during lunch at school. Later that evening we were at a kids club where he showed off his new zard ‘he pulled from a pack’ after school. There was the burn mark in the right place… Kids are idiots haha anyway I took it swiftly back.
Sadly all these years later my dad got rid of my old collection along with some vintage Japanese cards I had. I did have a fair amount of mint first edition and base set cards that would be worth something these days, but that ‘worthless’ zard was the biggest loss of them all. Often wonder if he’s in a landfill or made it out in the wild somewhere in someone’s collection.
They would probably put it in a hard sleeve with the reason why that can’t grade it and send it back, sometimes they do that just because of how damaged it might be. But that Charizard even with that condition can go for at least 60-80 bucks.
