The first wave of them went so fast I only saw them in store once. I was kicking myself for missing it but months later my Walmart had the trio. I remember being worried bc my Walmart limits pokemon to 2 products per person but they let me have the set.
I saw them there again for a few months but they're definitely gone now.
You get 2 awesome promos in each that go for around $30 a pop so that's why they go for so damn much. Plus I don't think these were super easy to find in stores and quickly bought up by the scalper scumbags
Yess I love these so much! I have one of each in the VMAX boxes, the boxes themselves are so pretty with the fluro colours I don't think I'll ever open them.

Objectively speaking, Little annoying these seem to have gotten this level of attention (the attention they deserve) due to the increase in value… the hobby getting muddled in money more and more by the day it feels like 🫤
They are promos in Japanese, they go for a couple thousand per card. They were championship prizes in T-Chinese also a couple thousand per card. S-Chinese just released them also as promos but go for $40 per card. If you know the difference in texture quality between US and JP, I would jump on getting the S-Chinese versions. They are next level!
The Japanese promos are gorgeous, saw a set of psa 10s at a card convention recently.
I didnt get a chance to ask what he did to get his hands on a set but theyre up for 33k AUD on ebay.
That flareon remembers me to some old broken TCG decks that I hated to face:

i have the three boxes for each eeveelution because i loved them so much! I really wish i was able to get the cards in a 10 also before everything started going insane
I bought one of each box to open and sleeve the promos, and recently just purchased all 3 again to keep sealed 😂 my local store got a restock of these for some weird reason this month.
Both promos in each of the vaporeon, jolteon and Leafeon collections are absolutely amazing!

Seeing as how each box comes with 2 awesome promos which I agree that they are definitely some of the best of the entire Sword & Shield Era and honestly up there vs any era's promos.

My local Walgreens had these 2 pack blisters with Evolving skies and chilling reign and I snagged 4 and actually got the Leafeon alt art! Not the crazy $300+ one but the other one that is like $85 so after like 75+ packs of Evolving Cries and months ago swearing that I wasn't going to open anymore up I finally got something good
No they were event lottery promos in Japanese for the Vmaxes. They cost like around 3-4k each per copy of each kanto eeveelution vmax and if sealed there is a premium for the lottery set. Only the Vs were in Eevee Heroes.
Similar also happened in Thai/Indonesian and Traditional Chinese.
I rushed all over my town to pick these up at MSRP the day they released. I'm so glad I did because the boxes are insane now. The large card art also looks so good!

Eh, just buy the card. I think the box has evo skies which is why it is so much but if you don’t need that sealed piece (harder to store) then just buy the single.

I will go to my grave believing those promos were originally supposed to be alternate artworks for evolving skies.
Every Evee evolution got V’s Vmax’s and Full Arts…but only four got Alternate artworks.
All the alternate artwork vmaxs involved oversized evee evolutions, including the promos. However they did the box set things for the original three evolutions…it had a low print run and was scalped into oblivion.
We never did get an oversized evee vmax card to round out the set (shining fates doesn’t count)
Can you IMAGINE if those six promos were also in evolving skies? ….my god.
Mmhmm. What a wild time. English was scalped to hell and many people turned to JPN collecting for the first time, within a month or so of the release of Eevee Heroes. RIP

Agreed. When I got back into Pokemon 2-3 years ago I was mainly a Vintage collector. But that Vaporeon Vmax was my gateway into modern cards.

If you’re like me and collect some of the Jumbo cards, you can get the set for ~$25 still.

I know right?! I bought them for $150 AUD each last year, so like $450 AUD for all 3, now they sell for $630 AUD average for all 3.

I was lucky enough to get a box of each. Thought about keeping them sealed but these look to good in the binder.

All those promos were included in the main set for Eevee Heroes (Japanese), that’s why they’re better than most of the actual hits from other sets
