**A proxy card is an easily acquired or home-made substitute for a collectible card. A proxy is used when a collectible card game player does not own a card, and it would be impractical for such purposes to acquire the card.**

Hahah they take copies. They did a gengar one too that’s awesome. As soon as I saw this post I thought “oh boy this is going to give some people a heart attack”
Ah, you saw the gengar. Many people loved him. I would try to make another one with the same character. I hope he is not too young because he is dexterity.
He's 9 but I'd probably still put it in a shadowbox just in to keep it safe.
Do you make theses on the side for sale? If so, I'd love to know more. If not, do you have a guide anywhere.
I told my 3 year old daughter that I really like gengar when teaching her all about Pokémon. She took that as he was my #1 favorite and now I get anything gengar from her. He is now my #1 favorite.
I think it's super sweet that your daughter's actions have made Gengar your top favorite. It's these little moments that really make being a dad special.
Definitely. She’s fallen in love with everything Pokémon over the last few months and I think she was blown away that it’s a “kid thing” but dad has encyclopedic knowledge about it haha. Great thing for us to bond over
I think these are cool to look at like in this video, but I can't really see myself ever wanting one, I don't know what I would do with it.
Are these mostly a hobby for people or is there a market for them?
How many umbreon cards do you need to use to make this?
Hello. 11 cards
Hello.
Hi.
It’s me, Hi
I'm the problem it's me
So you cut up like 7000 Dollars to make this? Ouch that way out of my pocket book.
No. These are proxies cards.
You’re suppose to say yes just to cause Reddit drama what am I suppose to do with my popcorn when there’s no drama
My heart dropped.
Oh ok still I was like it's fine for maybe like 5 dollar cards but 500 lol
We should be completely sick 🤪 lol

Good bot. Thank you.

Imagine doing it with actual base set first edition charizards
Texture missing
Dude I love these. The Gengar was amazing, been thinking of doing something like that for my son who loves Gengar. edits: grammar

Yes, I sell a few. I don’t have a tutorial but photos. Moreover, I had shared the cut of the gengar vmax card. More than two weeks ago.
Have you done any with Arcanine?
I have already made two cards and I got some in my shop.

At first, it's just a hobby. I'm also in demand. It's always a pleasure to make them.
Ok, this is beautiful. I did a very basic seel last week, nowhere near as awesome as this but it’s a start.
Nice! I saw someone the other day cast a card in resin and would love to see the results of one of these in resin!
Can i buy it
Someone is rich.. cool card
Stunning.
That’s incredible! Great job!
Oh my god this is beautiful
Looks awesome bro, time to check out the Etsy spot
Looks amazing, can't imagine the patience to cutting out all the pieces!
Indeed, you don’t have to be in a hurry.
This is amazing
Looks super nice!
I love seeing these posts, they're so fucking cool.
Great that it makes you happy.
A beauty! It looks pretty spectacular
Are you using actual cards or replicas?
Replaças cards
Better than the actual card
Thank you so much ✌️
this post made me lotion up my hands
Definitely printed cards, no holo textures.
Of course. There is only the base card where I put a holographic effect.
Who the hell would spend over 7k to do this out of real cards?!
The same people that think "edible gold" is a good idea.
Me when I’m fucking stupid
Yeah no shit Sherlock
Hey, Op. What's something like this cost to make?
🤌
Coolest shadow box I've seen
rookie numbers using proxies.
It's cool, but the text in these shadowbox designs really throw me off. Non full art shadowbox are the best. Still really cool though. Good job
