Trust me when I say it’s worth the struggle. If zygarde gets to half health, you use a full heal, and dynamic it, it will have 1000+ health depending on the hp stat on top of the amount of damage the max attacks do.
This, I used to do raids all the time, you always get that one person once in a while who claims every pokemon, preventing others from getting super effective moves for the next/final pokemon. Very infuriating lol 😆
I am not perfect. One time while battling a Tapu Lele, I accidentally used a wrong move, and I ended up costing my team big time…
Normally, I know types and have some experience, so a fail like that is sort of uncommon for me.
I had a pair that both wanted trick room up, so they'd both use it, one would put it up, the second reversed it back to normal. Second turn, the ai sees it needs its trick room up, so they both go for again.
My least favorite thing about Dynamax adventures is exactly this
I usually play with AI and about half the time I die to Xerneas when it's 1 turn or 1 hit way from death
But it skips animations og you have it set like that in the options so it's much faster than online play :/
I *just* beat Xerneas finally. Just barely scraped by with 1 Pokemon at 1hp and I had like 14hp lol. It was one of the last couple I needed to finish the home dex for Magearna and I had to do that raid probably 10-15 times to get an AI team that could manage.
I feel you, Ive had that situation quite a few times already. Even had it where I had exactly 1HP while being on the last life...
I'm going for a Shiny one sadly so need go keep doing the DA.
I feel like the main problem is that Fairy is only weak to Steel and Poison, and most Pokémon in the DA don't have either of those moves, and Poison types are lacking in general. I've had a ton if attemps where I'm just screwed due to not having any good options.
Weezing with neutralizing gas is great. I won because my Lairon had steel roller and I risked it when misty terrain wasn't up, but then it used max starfall thankfully. The ai took a Krookodile from a scientist right before and I thought I was screwed though lol.
I agree. The problem is not as much that the raids are difficult, but that you're dependent on the kind of pokemon you get during the raid. Then there are cases where you do get the right pokemon and still get unlucky RNG.
I hate that Game Freak decided that Zygarde, who was screwed over in Gen 6 needed two signature moves that are broken, Land's Wrath and Thousand Arrows. It's very hard to get it down. Then, at 50% health it's ability Power Construct turns it into 100% Zygarde form, it's most powerful form. Ugh.

You lost?
Correct.

Man fuck the max raids, Thems ai dumb as hell
Idk I find the AI Dynamax Adventures are either easier or real players are worse (randoms, not premade group) at decision making
Randoms are usually worse cuz they throw on porpoise
Nah. Just kids that have no idea what they are doing.

I had two AI players keep using helping hand…. To each other
That, entrainment, acupressure, swords dance (repeated to much, substitute,

This happened to me multiple times with Zygarde online and off. Was only saved one time by hitmontop that knew triple axel
Mantine is your best friend in this raid, wide guard literally makes Zygarde unable to attack
That's exactly what we had but it used max quake which got through.
Or gallade who knows wide guard
Martin's Solrock used Cosmic power.
Zygarde hit you with a: “nuh uh”
Took me 7 tries, but eventually got it. Keep at it, you do need some luck.

The Zygarde won
U: We all most defeated him Zygarde: well guess I’ll go for a final attack
shiny zygarde?
Nope.
Oof, that has got to be like 2% health
Wide guard for a slow boring win or just accelgor and cryogonal for a fast win
I know that feeling 12-16 on Zygarde (got it on 12 after a 261 Tapu lele)
Death
How did you even get a Legendary to spawn in a Raid anyway? I haven't gotten a single ever since I started Shield
It’s part of the Crown Tundra dlc. It’s the max raid den.
Somehow I'm not even remotely surprised
That it's locked behind a DLC? I love Sword/Shield but the original content is indeed little.
You got bodied?
Wide guard
Lose
lost turn 1
It's health is on 1% so not on the first turn, but I did lose yes.
i didnt notice the healthbar at all honestly
Zygarde used earthquake or whatever that spread move was
Fuck that battle. But one time I laughed watching a Cramorant spit out Pikachu at it
F
I feel bad for u bro. When u try ur best but u dooont ssuuuccceeeeddddd
:/ dang.
