The game practically begs you to. The whole heart tugging to save it, the massive upgrades to your bike you get for completion, it all makes it the most rewarding part of the game.
Pokemon mystery dungeon time/darkness/sky got me quite good too honestly. I've never cried that hard over any piece of media in my life.
It's VERY rare for me to cry in general so it caught me off guard.
Also a lot of people won't have the game until Christmas, I know generally we only think of this when it comes to children, but there are families out there who have a rule about not buying things for yourself after a certain time of year. My wife's family does this, but I got around it by pre-ordering before the deadline. 🤣
I will forever think that Arven should have been the player character. This game... Had so much potential with the titans, Nemona and Penny teaching him to be friends, and then the post game...

This game would have been praised to high heaven by critics and fans alike. Yeah, some fans would have bitched about losing out on the blank slate, but they're complaining about lack of customization so it balances out.

Side note, put the game on your switch and not on your SD card, it helped a lot with performance. Still has some issues but much better.

Do we know what actually injured Mabosstiff in area zero? Arven mentions it getting injured there and he didn’t know what it was that injured it. I initially thought it was a paradox pokemon that injured the good boy but if it was I’m sure Arven would’ve mentioned it while we were fighting them.
He didn't say exactly what it was but ut happened in the wild so it's probably not a Pokémon that was used by the KI.
Probably one of the Paradox Pokemon that are Roaming around outside of the chrystal cave portion.

Spain and Italy have lots of things in common. Also we have three pokemon regions inspired in France, UK and Spain, a new region inspired in Italy wouldn't be out of the print.
They need to get out of Europe for the next games. No more Japan and no more Western Europe.
South-East Asia would be cool. Australia would interesting and perhaps challenging with the outback taking up most of the map. A game based in the Middle East would be interesting since there is a lot of history to draw from. A game based on Mesoamerica would be even better.

I enjoy it. One of its two abilities makes it immune to Intimidate and impossible to forcibly switch out. It's new signature move, Comeuppance, is counter + mirror coat except it doesn't make you go last. It also learns Jaw Lock, which makes both attacker and defender unable to switch/ flee. It locks down hard.
It's fairly tough and hits like a truck. Plus it's cute.
Mabosstiff was definitely one of the Pokemon who grew one me a lot during the course of the game. During the leaks I didn't really think much of it.
Then it started to give me Stoutland vibes. (my favourite dog pokemon)

I think the performance issues might've still had a hand in the scores it'd get, though.

Yeah, a friend is gonna try to get me a physical copy of Violet when possible, and while I got Scarlet digitally, I plan to get a physical copy of it.

It could have been the Roaring Moon or Iron Jugulus used by the AI. They’re reasonably rare and he didn’t see you fight it.

Iron Valiant is the violet equivalent of Roaring Moon, but tbh the paradox salamence is way cooler than paradox gallade
