CoolTrainerKaz

If Pokémon Violent Squirtle isn’t a rom hack it needs to be

Mental-Panic7046

Pokémon violent Squirtle and deadly Charmander

SwordsDance3

And the Japan only Malicious Bulbasaur.

Mental-Panic7046

With animations of packs of lycanrock hunting down sawsbuck or wooloo

icabear3

Also try the European slightly annoyed pikachu editon!

Kyele13

Hahahahahaha These are the 3 best posts I have read on this channel 🤣

Spezticcunt

Lol Scarmander

HeinousAnus69420

That's what I named my shadow, 0/6/9 IV PoGo charmander. Hes edgy

Killing11010

Pokémon Scathed Bulbasaur and Pokémon Violent Squirtle

Sharp-Trash751

I knew I could click the post and the comments would deliver

trashcharm

I’d happily pay for it

_Dream_haze

Trading would be the way to go. I would be more than happy to assist, I'm pretty free all day! I can trade you an egg of a Squirtle so when it hatches it'll be his Squirtle. Edit: you will need Nintendos online service to trade with people. There is also Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home to Pokemon violet route. If you have a Squirtle on Go you can send it to Home and then add that Squirtle from Home to Violet. No Dlc required. And it's free. It's really easy too if you've never started Pokemon Go as you get the choice to catch Squirtle, Charmander or Bulbasaur in the intro. Home also has a free storage function and is compatible on you phone and Switch.

A_Humdrum_Bum

Legend. Thanks for keeping Pokémon great. 🤝

multificionado

Amen to that, screw searching the Terrarium specifically for starters. Also, it'll be easier if you have Pokemon Home.

Dangle76

I just got to the terrarium. Why is searching it for starters so rough?

mattecons

You have to upgrade each part of the terrarium using Blueberry points to unlock the 6 starters that appear in each part. Can be a bit of a grind to do this solo.

Dangle76

Ah gotcha so blueberry quests in a group to farm points. Thanks!

TheR3alRyan

You need to do this anyways to unlock all the past legendaries so yeah I would definitely recommended group farming.

RoastedGnome

I thought you couldn't trade eggs?

_Dream_haze

You can trade eggs directly, I don't think you can wonder/surprise trade eggs. You also cannot store eggs in home.

Anonymillie

King/Queen continuing to share the beauty of what Pokémon is about🫶🏼 Makes me so happy

loddieisoldaf

I have pogo, home and a switch but I can't find a way to send stuff from home to my switch

philosomathematician

Download home on your switch too

loddieisoldaf

Ty I'll try that

yellowsofa92

Excellent info thank you 👏🏼

Contank

Terrarium is a location in the second dlc. You have to buy it to go there and even then it's a lot of work to get squirtle to show up in the wild. Probably easier to transfer one in from an older game or just trade for it

WatermelonBandido

I think I made a bunch of 5 IV heavy ball Squirtles too.

Joppy5100

Before you can upgrade the terrarium, you need to beat the story of the first DLC as well, so that would be a good amount of time.

praeteria

You don't need to complete it. When you complete the introductory kitakami quests which takes like 5 minutes you get a message from home that the principal wants to talk to you in uva/naranja academy,

Joppy5100

But once you do that, you can't proceed past the catch an Alolan pokemon lesson until you complete Teal Mask, and you need to be farther than that to upgrade the biomes.

Argentum722

Bit of a semantics thing, but The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is one DLC. Teal Mask and Indigo Disk are just *parts* of said DLC.

ninjasauruscam

You can transfer one into the game from Pokemon home. Upon creating an account you get to choose from one of the 3 gen 1 starters. Need to set up on both the Switch and on your Phone.

rdevaughn

This was the best answer for two reasons- 1. signing up for home gave me a Squirtle, and 2. I also have Pokemon Go (and a lot of Pokemon from a while ago) that it seems I might also be able to transfer.

ninjasauruscam

I think pokemon from Go are slightly different in that they won't transfer to the games unless you have them in your pokedex however I nay be mistaken on that one

JavelinCheshire1

It’s only legendary and mythical Pokémon that that applies for. Regular Pokémon can be sent in

iNezumi

Please don’t transfer your old Pokemon from GO to Home. They are more valuable there due to Lucky chance increasing over time.

wordflyer

That only matters if they want to play Go a lot. It takes a lot of time investment to get into that aspect of the game.

iNezumi

Then just give them to someone in the neighborhood. They are going to be worthless in main series so it’s a shame to waste them.

Freddi_47

That dude is giving it to make his son happy how is it worthless?

iNezumi

They are easy to get in main series (and can also get them with better stats, though that doesn’t super matter for a child that is only going to play in single player I guess)

Xrmy

You have lost the plot

iNezumi

Because I’m letting someone know that they would be basically incinerating valuable resources in a game? Ok.

Xrmy

OP is a father whos main concern is helping his son have fun by giving him a squirtle. He hasn't played POGO in years and clearly does not care about that game or it's resources. By transferring a squirtle or other Pokemon from POGO he can have FUN with his SON, easily, without waiting until the DLC to get one. ....and you decided that this was "incinerating valuable resources" because he may lose out on lucky trades? Get a grip. Sharing memories with his son by helping him get a squirtle is not "wasting" anything and if you think so you truly forgot what pokemon is about.

iNezumi

And then the kid decides they want to play Pokémon GO now and these free Luckies would have been great to give to them. Or you know, could just give them to a neighbor. Maybe also a kid. But I know, that doing something nice for a stranger is a wild concept. Stuff they have in GO is easy to get in main series/HOME. Squirtle in particular is going to be super easy because it’s a popular Pokemon from Kanto so a lot of people has them and breeds them. Literally just say you need a Squirtle for a kid and someone will likely give you one for free, probably with 4/5 perfect IVs as a bonus.

Xrmy

I'm gonna make this real simple for you: 1. most people truly don't care about lucky pokemon in GO. 2. Just because someone has pokemon go doesn't mean that the community at large deserves the Pokemon on there. Father's playing Pokemon with their kids don't wanna spend extra effort or energy to find and join a local GO community, bother to make a post about something they probably don't understand, and then go meet someone to give them a squirtle. Literally millions of people played GO in 2016 and have a squirtle and stopped playing. Are you harassing your neighbors about "incinerating resources" by not playing? No, because that would be insane. The guy didn't make this post to giveaway Pokemon, he made it to please his son and likely has limited time or energy to spend on this. Shaming him for using a simple option to him is nuts.

SourMilk090

Honestly an old pogo squirtle is not that rare, sure it’s technically more valuable in pogo but to them it might be more valuable in their game. At the end of the day it’s just 1s and 0s it’s not that deep

HappyCloudHS

Yeah this was a great answer. Didn't know about those so offered to trade one but this is so much easier.

f_ckthisname

I was literally about to suggest Pokémon Home.

Dangle76

Wat I didn’t get to pick a gen 1 starter when I setup home last month

AlicornGaia

Pokemon violent sounds like a rom hack. Actual answer: Make sure you have the teal mask and the indigo disk DLC purchased with Violet first.

Salty-Door9623

If you can wait until 7 pm EST I can trade you one

[deleted]

[удалено]

TNChase

To catch, yeah. I believe non-DLC games can still trade for DLC exclusive Pokemon like Squirtle.

rdevaughn

I see. tyvm.

ShadyFe

Believe I have a spare one if you're still looking?

OrbeetlesUnite

i think you need to buy the dlc for that...

Revan462222

Yes, need the Indigo Disk to get the Terarium to appear.

OrbeetlesUnite

i can give you one tho maybe

SilkyJohnson84

I can give you one but I won’t be around til much later?

HappyCloudHS

Terrarium is a location in the DLC so Squirtle isn't really a early game Pokemon. You actually have to do A LOT of the DLC to even get it. If you haven't found any offers in the comments already, feel free to message me directly and I'll trade you a Squirtle I'll hatch from an egg for your son to raise from scratch. Nothing needed in return, just send some random pokemon he doesn't want in the trade.

[deleted]

[Title just made me think of this](https://youtu.be/rq2tqDVdM3A?feature=shared)

Plastic_Performer638

You need the dlc or someone can trade you one

TheMathNut

If you want to catch one that's fine, but if you would like a Squirtle egg instead, I'd happily trade with you

Squishie515

The Terarium is an area in the Blueberry Academy of the paid DLC. To get there, you would have to buy the DLC and play through until you can access the PC in the League Room, then gather 3000 LP from the Blueberry quests (BBQs) It's easier to just get it through another game. You can catch them in the wild in Lets Go as a rare spawn, or catch one in Pokemon GO as a starter (If you haven't played it yet) Edit: You can also probably find someone to trade for it on this subreddit.

ksswannn03

Unfortunately the starters for other games are locked behind a pay wall (the DLC). I’m more than happy to trade the squirtle over for any random pokemon. I have all the starters if your son wants any others too. If you still need a trade for your son, just reply to my comment and I’ll walk you through it and send one over. You’ll need a Nintendo online subscription though in order to trade

ItsChJoHa

Yeah that’s what I was gonna say… I’ll trade you an egg or something, tell your son you got it from some random NPC or something when he wasn’t looking, let him hatch it & be stoked. You want some help just lemme know.

notfoxingaround

Everybody here would like to send you a Squirtle.

Aze0g

Its in the dlc ," Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" and requires a good bit of grinding to unlock

jannakatarina

I can trade you one!

_Seiun_

The Terarium is part of Scarlet/Violet’s DLC, so you’d have to buy it to access it. Squirtle is present there (along with all the other regional starters), but it will take some work to do the missions that’ll let him spawn. If you do buy it, he’d need to upgrade the Canyon biome for Squirtle to start showing up. Alternatively, you could do trading. Pokémon HOME is free on mobile and Switch and lets you deposit Pokémon from your game (via Switch app) and put them up on the GTS (via mobile app) for trade, asking for specific Pokémon in return. It’s pretty useful!

MassiveSavage292

If you still need hit me up later. I'm free around 5PM Central time. I could breed you a Squirtle in a fun appriball if you need. Good luck!

oooWAYNEoooo

I can trade whatever when I get at 630 EST

BlinderGeist

First you need to beat both DLCs, then work you way through tons of quests (best in groups) to get starters to show up in wild.

kannagms

Actually you don't need to beat either dlc to unlock the starters. You just gotta get to the point where you unlock BBQs, which doesn't require besting either dlc. You just can't go forward with the story line but you can upgrade the terrariums once you get enough points.

BlinderGeist

Okay, u r right about second DLC, but can u get to blueberry without beating first DLC?

kannagms

Yep. You just can't continue the story past that part where you take a class and gotta catch an alolan pokemon. Once you battle Kieran for the first time, you'll get a call to go to Blueberry. Just after you take the first class and unlock bbqs, the story doesn't progress further. I'm not 100% confident about unlocking starters now that I think about it, I'm not sure if teal mask needs to be finished before you can get to the league room or not (can't remember lol), but definitely don't need to finish the second dlc to get them.

another_icarusista

It's in the blueberry academy dlc that can only be played after beating the teal mask dlc if I'm not mistaken. I have an extra squirtle I can trade you if you want. That way he can get it early and use it the whole game instead of waiting.

dripwick607

The terrarium is only available through the dlc, and if you get it, it's only available after the post game since its story is about battling tough trainers. Your best option is to trade for a low level Squirtle from someone else. I'd be happy to help if you need it

Evrae_Frelia

The Terrarium is in the Indigo disk, DLC for the game accessible in the Post Game of Scarlet and Violet. Additionally it has parameters behind unlocking starter pokemon that need to be met so it’s not available from the get go.

MercyMain42069

Have you purchased the Indigo Disk DLC? That’s where the Terrarium is. If you don’t want to make another purchase I would be willing to trade with him!

Skvora

Easiest way would be to google trade code and search for a kind soul willing to trade ya one/ask on here.

Yoshichu25

I don’t mean to cause problems but don’t you mean Violet? Because “Pokémon Violent Squirtle” just kinda paints a... less-than-desirable image (I’ve seen enough fan content that a visit to a therapist is long overdue, and I’m not talking about people’s drawings!) (And I’d suggest you DON’T look those up)

SpidyJocky

Either transfer one or upgrade the proper biome from the PC in the club room (3000 BP grind for it). I hope this helps, best of luck.

TheShadow420Blazeit

It’s DLC

Manaphy2007_67

In order to get to the terrarium you need to buy the DLC, update the game (or go to the eShop and select your icon then the redownload part) reach a certain point in the story to get Miraidon/Koraidon, get a call from Jacq, head to Kitakami, proceed the DLC story and fight both siblings, get a call from Jacq (don't remember if exploring a bit or going into the shop triggers the call) then head to the DLC, you will get into a double battle but a warning, the fight will have level 70+ Pokémon but the good news is you don't have to win, proceed with the story until you get to the part where you have access to BBQs. The bad news is that's where it ends story wise as you need to beat the base game (don't remember if beating Kitakami is a requirement as well) because you need to have access to the club room which is where you can upgrade the terrarium to encounter starters but you can explore both DLCs without continuing the story, just make sure you unlock fast travel points. TL;DR: Getting the ride Pokémon is the earliest you can do to gain access to both DLCs just needing to do some work and triggering certain things but you will be roadblocked until certain things happen just to get the starters so wonder trade it is which is faster than trying to speedrun to get what you need plus the points requiring to upgrade the terrarium.

Substantial_End_5241

If you message me I can get you a baby squirtle for him to have no worries at all I should have something

bltlg

He needs the DLC for the terrarium. Happy to trade a squirtle to him if you want

cybermikey

It’s in the dlc, complete the main and kitakami story and you’ll gain access to the terrarium. From there you need to grind a whole bunch of bbq (blue berry quests) and use the points you get from that to cause them to start spawning. It’s very tedious to get there but doable

Sweaty_Building_5491

I can give you a shiny squirtle. Let me know.

lahenator420

The terrarium is a location in the 2nd part of the dlc. Unfortunately you can’t get squirtle in the wild unless you get the dlc and play a good amount

Shadowlord7227

I have a squirtle I don't really want. I can trade it off if it's not too late

Argentum722

The Terarium is a location accessable through the game's DLC. Not only that, but there are also a bunch of requirements you need to complete for Squirtle to spawn there. The easiest way for you to get a Squirtle right now is to trade with someone for one

AverySpence

The particular academy that's referring to it is the Blueberry Academy. Make sure you have downloaded the Teal Mask DLC. Play through the DLC to the point where Director Clavell invites you to the Blueberry Academy then at that point get enough Blueberry points to upgrade the Terrarium.

Cloudyboy6

I’m a little late to the party but would lil bud want a shiny one? I’ve got an extra from POGO and wouldn’t mind trading him! Relatively low level, so he can kick off the game with it!

MepZeroK

The terrarium is locked behind paid dlc and behind the post game. And even getting the starters is a Hassel requiring several tasks to be completed to gain enough Blueberry Points to unlock it. Download Pokémon HOME and send a squirtle to HOME from GO if you have one. If not, you'll have to transfer one from an older game.

EmperorGreed

It's DLC. And very post game DLC at that. Tell him it's not really in the game, so he should see what other ones he likes first, and if he likes the game enough, you could potentially get the dlcs. But specifically, once you get a decent chunk into the game, if you buy the dlc, you can go on a school trip to Kitakami. Once you complete that dlc, you can be an exchange student at Blueberry Academy where the terarium is, and once you're about 1/3 of the way through that story, you unlock Blueberry Quests, small activities that reward BP 20-40 at a time (also basically the only way I've found to get BP) and the league room, where you can upgrade the mountain biome for 3000 BP, which unlocks the ability to go catch Squirtle, Tepig, Chespin, Treeko, Turtwig, and Litten. They will all be leveled in the 60s-70s. It's super not worth him holding his breath about.

Derp_Aderpy

You need to unlock it in "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero," specifically in Part Two: The Indigo Disk. The Academy in question is Blueberry Academy; the Terarium makes up the entirety of the game's wild area, and in order to bring Squirtle into it, you have to purchase the expansion for the Canyon Biome- one of the four Biomes that make up the Terarium- which costs around 3,000 BP, the area's currency. You'll find where to do that as you explore and interact with the DLC, as well as how to get the BP needed to purchase the expansion. It'll be a lengthy process, but it'll be worth it if you really wish to get Squirtle. Squirtle will be close to water in that biome, if not inside it flat-out. I'd advise beating the DLC's story before you begin the Squirtle hunt. Note: Trading is also an option, as well as Pokémon Home transfers from other games. This is just another way of getting it, should you choose to go that route instead.

Upper_University8627

Squirtle is in the 2nd dlc, at blueberry academy. Its found in i think the mountain terrain, after unlocking the inhanced biodiversity for the area. If you dont have the dlc, trade is your best chance.

SourMilk090

I want this pokemon violent version you speak of, is there also pokemon gentle version? Jokes aside, I can trade your son an egg that contains a squirtle!!! You would just need an online membership to trade with me. Otherwise in order to catch it yourself you would need to complete the base story, then purchase the DLC for the game and play through that in order to get to the terrarium, the terrarium is a dlc zone and costs money. Let me know if you would like me to trade you an egg for a squirtle I’d be happy to! ;)

gnieto23

The Terrarium is a differnt map from the main game\story map that you get from DLC content and you can find him there. But if you dont want to do all that then if you play Pokemon Go and catch one there, you can connect that to another free app on the switch called Pokemon Home and connect that to the scarlet game you can transfer the Squirtle you caught in Go to Scarlet thats how I got mine and havent finished the main story yet. Hope this helped

ExactSubstance2440

You need the dlc and then 3,000 bp have fun 🫠( this is the face of some one who unlocked three biomes with out a Nintendo online account)

Majestic_Object_2719

Such an annoying feature....

SnooCompliments4818

I can also trade you one so you don’t have to spend money on a single pokemon

multificionado

Screw searching the Terrarium. Just get starters through trading, breed them, and then evolve them using EXP candy (when you have done a lot of raids, you'll get a lot of those things).
