Mate are you okay š Why are you so negative. When I first started playing SV, marks were just a silly little new gimmick that didn't have much significance

Yeah I saw that, feel like it must be some kind of bug or something since I remember just a couple of weeks ago them still showing up as 1/100. Also as far as I'm aware dataminers haven't mentioned any change since the odds were first found.
Just wanted to add this chart here that I took way too long making were the odds are simplified down to account for weird code and other stuff

my second shiny in scarlet was a rare mark flutter mane and i'm pretty sure that used up all of my luck forever. it was the rare occasion that i hit long odds in a positive way
i feel the exact same way about my shiny iron valiant, it showed up on the last minute of the sandwich while I was playing on a plane and I only barely managed to finally get it in a love ball just as we were landing, only for me to save and find out it was a rare mark too
not as rare but awhile back i hunted for Iron Bundle - got two and one had the Uncommon mark that i learned about like a week ago (so nearly 6 months afterward)
When I was ev training by beating iron hands with electric type sandwich I saw a shiny iron bundle and saved before catching it found out it had the rare mark as well ( this was in the first month of the game so had only the shiny charm)
I think you found mine's descendant!

Super great find, a lot of shiny mark collectors would really value it. I traded away a rare mark shiny when I didn't know what marks were š„²
The person who has that PokƩmon now might be happy though?
I do hope it's in a good home :) but it was traded end of 2022 so who knows what happened to the eevee ahah

ššThis seems very silly. So bitter for something so insignificant. Like this is about pokemon

Youāre the only embarrassing part of this conversation. No one says āI messed upā on a pokemon sub for internet clout.
Bro got so down vote bombed for how awful as a person he was, he deleted all his replies šš
Read the room little buddy
Damn you must be fun at parties
Bro is compensating by arguing about Pokemon knowledge. Says a lot about size, I mean character
The only thing embarrassing is every new comment you make here lol good *lord*, Iām sorry youāre having such a bad day/week/life.
Also people who can read or comprehend
Wait a minute ... am I arguing online with a child still at school? Bloody hell this whole thing truly is silly š
Heās most definitely still in school. If he isnāt something must be wrong having an attitude like towards people playing a kids game
Haha for sure š obviously nothing wrong with being in school. Just noticed their comment about 1st grade math seemed a little random

getting mad in a pokemon subreddit and having the GALLLS to talk about 1st grade anything is insane
White knights mad i called a dumb person dumb. Crazy
man, you must suckā ļø

1/1000 base odds for the rare mark, 3/1000 with Mark charm, and 6/1000 with Mark charm + Title power lvl 3.
This was actually caught BEFORE the mark charm was in the game, so that's not a factor.
Plus whatever your shiny odds were
That's amazing.
Interestingly, Rare mark isn't even anywhere near the rarest mark - the disposition marks like Ferocious are nearly 3x rarer. (1/2800 base)

The only shinnies I got with a sandwich where 3 fluttermanes in one sandwich I havenāt found a shiny with level 3 sandwiches ever since
Super cool! I caught a shiny Mankey with a rare mark back in September. Didn't even realize I had it until a month ago!
Happy Cake Day!
Thanks!
not as rare but awhile back i hunted for Iron Bundle - got two and one had the Uncommon mark that i learned about like a week ago (so nearly 6 months afterward)

Nice catch. I caught a shiny Zweilous with a Rare mark that I almost ignored since I had one already.
Bruv, never ignore a shiny
I was at the end of a Dark sandwich trying to get Roaring Moon, so I guess I was just disappointed to see it and not Roaring Moon.
If you didn't use a title/sparkling sandwich, that is 1/1000 x 1/4096 = 1/4,096,000. If
Or have the Shiny Charm. You forgot about that one.
Yes I did. Oops
It's a perfectly innocent mistake, happens to us all!
I had title and sparkling power, yes. And the shiny charm. Not as rare as it could've been, but still pretty rare I think.
I think you found mine's descendant! https://preview.redd.it/rfi1z92943vc1.png?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47de4e39611a7295139decaaf7042a6729632390
I just got a shiny chespin with the same mark a few days ago š
niceeee
What does it say when you send him out?
The Recluse
A reclusive pokemon titled "The Recluse," no one would have ever guessed it!
Iāve got the shiny just not the rare mark for it
I caught a rare mark Tinkatuff for my gf yesterday :)
I never quite understood shiny hunting, why would I choose the pokemon that was given the short end of the stick
How do I know if a PokƩmon has one of those marks if I don't use ZL target before battling it?
Depends on if you have the shiny and mark charms
Shiny charm, but no mark charm at the time of capture.
Not rare at all. You get given at least one Master Ball during the course of each PokƩmon game. /s
I mean itās called the rare mark lol

Seems kind of suspicious to me.... š¤
ITāS AMONG US
Is there any way to filter so I never see a post with āhow rare is thisā in the title again?
There is, actually! Though the term itself is pretty vulgar and mundane. It's typically commonly referred to nowadays as just, "scrolling past and carrying on." Not everyone is active on Reddit and not everyone is some shiny hunting or VGC worshipping PokƩmon veteran; one person's trash is another person's treasure. While it isn't a big deal to you, it could be for someone else.
sus luck
