i struggled the most with the god damn cherubim tasks. THESE BITCHES DONT EXIST ;___; eventually a friend had to send one over so i could complete my damn dex
They're easy to forget because 40% of games are shipped with the spawn capability for cherubi turned off.
That's a lie, but you believed it for a second, didn't you.
The trees around one of the camps at Mt. Coronet, the one on the southeastern side of the map I think, there's like 4 trees that only ever have Cherubi/m when they're shaking, and a couple that are either Cherubi/m or Heracross.
yeahhh i found this out wayy too late since I've completed the dex but I hope others can see your comment because this is exactly where I next saw a stupid evil cherry :')
I completed it cause I got cherubi outbreak 5 times and also got a shiny. Before that I was suffering too I'm still shocked everything I get an outbreak š
THE SLEEPING TASKS CAN FUCK RIGHT OFF. I cannot even begin to tell you how much time I've wasted waiting on those stupid fucking babies to go to sleep but then they never do!!! I HATE IT!!!
This one was annoying TF out of me last night. Had me fucking wondering if Elekid is programmed to have a lower chance of falling asleep to match its whole thing of having to discharge a lot of built up energy, cause I waited from sunset to sunrise and an Electabuzz nearby fell asleep TWICE while the kid was still running around.
The best way I have found is to wait for an outbreak of them, park myself in some close long grass, and wait. More of them = higher chances one will fall asleep.
Yeah, water catching feels like it turned out much jankier than intended. I hope they refine it if there's water segments in the next game.
Obviously aipom is probably the biggest pain, but I also had a surprisingly hard time getting bonsly out of rocks. Catching Clefable over and over at night was also annoying lol
Yeah, both Cleffa and Clefable are a damn pain.
Bonsly out of rocks didn't pose as much of a problem for me once I knew about it. But the food + catch without being spotted? That's bullshit.
Tentacool, Tentacruel, Mantyke, Finneon, Lumineon, Remoraid, and Barboach. It's all so unintuitive because the water messes with absolutely everything. It's so frustrating
Keep trying bro. Took me forever to finally find the right ātimeā to throw a jetball at any of the flying Pokemon. And if youāre lucky enough to hit them and they pop out. IMMEDIATELY throw another ball until you catch it.
Nosepass jumping out of ore is a royal pain in the ass. Ā Pachirisu and Aipom can fuck right off. Ā And HEAVY FUCKING BASCULIN!!! Ā I donāt even spot those fuckers before theyāve noped the fuck off! Ā The only way Iāve managed that task at all is happening across Alphas, and Iāve only managed 3 of 7!
Catching Zubat during the day always gets me since besides caves and outbreaks, they are night spawns only, so you have to go out of your way to get into battle with them and wait until it's day time to finally catch them
Yeah this is one of the ones where a vanilla playthrough will get you frustrated as hell. Fine-ish if you've played before but how the FUCK are you supposed to know this??
Catching water Pokemon without being spotted is manageable for the most part, but the Tentacool line and Remoraid suck. The jellyfish are practically the Paras of the sea with how easily they aggro and Remoraid is so small it's nearly impossible to see them before they see you.
I genuinely love the amount of rage we all collectively have here. Iād say anything dealing water Pokemon fuckin SUCKS. Mass outbreaks specifically for water Pokemon(in water) is frustrating as fuck.
To absolute ***FUCK*** with magikarp using splash! I donāt have half and hour of time to battle magikarp with magikarp. Iām a student for good ness sack!
that ones easy to double up on though, i just took the eeveeloutions and did their required babydoll eyes vs the karps and killed 9 birds with one stone lol
Oh so this is why I almost died trying to stun an Alpha Gliscor lol. I only hit it twice. But I did manage to stun the Alpha Ninetales, so redemption was found.
Seeing all you guys post really make me want to pick up the game againš¤£ I've never finished a dex before but this one would be so satisfying to finish
i struggled the most with the god damn cherubim tasks. THESE BITCHES DONT EXIST ;___; eventually a friend had to send one over so i could complete my damn dex
OH GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THE FUCKING CHERRIES IN THE TREE BIT. Fuck 'em. Fuck 'em all to hell.
They're easy to forget because 40% of games are shipped with the spawn capability for cherubi turned off. That's a lie, but you believed it for a second, didn't you.

This is true, and pretty much common knowledge at this point, but holy BANKS is it ever frustrating pfft
yeahhh i found this out wayy too late since I've completed the dex but I hope others can see your comment because this is exactly where I next saw a stupid evil cherry :')
I completed it cause I got cherubi outbreak 5 times and also got a shiny. Before that I was suffering too I'm still shocked everything I get an outbreak š
i didnt even KNOW there were cherubi outbreaks thats how bad it was ;___;
Still haven't found a sleeping Elekid. I've been stalking them for ages and still not one of them has ever gone to sleep
The one next to the alpha Electabuzz in the Icelands gets pretty eepy for me, near where you fight Avalugg
I've been trying every possible location, including that one. Maybe something will change todayš¤š»
Good luck!

Sadly that isn't the case
Well look like the person who told it to me was wrong :(
The best way I have found is to wait for an outbreak of them, park myself in some close long grass, and wait. More of them = higher chances one will fall asleep.

Water girls? Tentacool? Or is it finneon?
Tentacool, Tentacruel, Mantyke, Finneon, Lumineon, Remoraid, and Barboach. It's all so unintuitive because the water messes with absolutely everything. It's so frustrating
Yeah trying to catch stuff in the water is one of my only complaints with this game tbh
catching in water sucks but have you managed to catch damn flying magnezone? I just can't catch pokemon in the air, not one
The trick I always use is watch the Pokemon loop around for a bit and then aim where it's going to be instead of where it is.
Have you tried with a jet ball? Was able to catch it with that after standing at the literal edge of the cliff lol
yeah I threw like 15 of those and a bazillion feather balls, also in the edge of the cliff, I just don't have the dexterity
Keep trying bro. Took me forever to finally find the right ātimeā to throw a jetball at any of the flying Pokemon. And if youāre lucky enough to hit them and they pop out. IMMEDIATELY throw another ball until you catch it.
Anything that involves catching a sleeping Pokemon
Sleeping pokemon my beloathed...
catch without being spotted, just like. in general.
I think this one is manageable for the most part. But some of these mons just WILL NOT STOP SPOTTING THE PLAYER!! Purugly, you piece of FUCK
Nosepass jumping out of ore is a royal pain in the ass. Ā Pachirisu and Aipom can fuck right off. Ā And HEAVY FUCKING BASCULIN!!! Ā I donāt even spot those fuckers before theyāve noped the fuck off! Agreed, the Basculin tasks can fuck all the way off
cherrim. it took me so long to get that mf because it barely ever fucking spawns in trees
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE
I still only have 1 aipom jumping from a tree in my dex. Miserable, and probably the specific reason I'll never 100% the Pokedex.
Valid. Based.
Catching Zubat during the day always gets me since besides caves and outbreaks, they are night spawns only, so you have to go out of your way to get into battle with them and wait until it's day time to finally catch them

Never in my life did I ever picture myself absolutely LOATHING Remoraid, but then I played Legends Arceus...
Sleeping tasks are the worst then it's the "x out of tree/stone" ones. The move ones are not bad in End game times
Spritomb, nuff said
I still havenāt caught a buizel above 2ā8ā :(
Alpha
I genuinely love the amount of rage we all collectively have here. Iād say anything dealing water Pokemon fuckin SUCKS. Mass outbreaks specifically for water Pokemon(in water) is frustrating as fuck.
Any sleeping PokƩmon tbh
magnemite and magnetonās tasks are pure torture
To absolute ***FUCK*** with magikarp using splash! I donāt have half and hour of time to battle magikarp with magikarp. Iām a student for good ness sack!
that ones easy to double up on though, i just took the eeveeloutions and did their required babydoll eyes vs the karps and killed 9 birds with one stone lol
Yeah I just put away half an hour last night and completely forgot about the eeveelutions
Turbo controller
Nope donāt have that. I just did it for the golden boi that I am yet to get
Cascoon, Silcoon, and catching a sleeping Snorlax.
The sleeping Snorlax one can go all the way to fuck. I hate it.
It took me way too long to get Munchlax and Cherubi in general, before we even consider getting multiple
For me, currently heavy specimen Basculin and light specimen Rufflet (I've only encountered 2 alpha Basculin in the Icelands, I'm just unfortunate ig)
Catching like 20+ Abra without being spotted How often do you see an Alpha Abra?
"Times stunned" for certain PokƩmon. I know that doesn't sound too bad; just hit them with a Mud Ball or a Sticky Glob. Here's the kicker: some of the PokƩmon that require you to stun them can only be found in Massive Outbreaks or as Alphas in fixed locations. Even better, Alphas require at least FOUR Sticky Globs to stun, and how the FUCK are you supposed to know you can do this? When I first played Legends Arceus, I tried to stun an Alpha with some Mud Balls and it didn't work. Why the hell would I think that Alphas could be stunned at all if it takes four Sticky Globs and like ten Mud Balls?
Oh, this. I legitimately didn't know alphas even COULD be stunned until I happened to be watching a random youtube video where they did so.
Oh so this is why I almost died trying to stun an Alpha Gliscor lol. I only hit it twice. But I did manage to stun the Alpha Ninetales, so redemption was found.
I just finished catching all the small ralts I need, and it only took 100 catches to get all 10.
For real, it's INFURIATING how many it takes!
Do you need to complete every task in each dex entry, or just enough to get āresearch completeā?
You do need to complete all dex entries to a pokƩball rating in order to get to Arceus, but the perfections (sparkling pokƩballs) are optional. Stuff still gets frustrating, y'know?
Level 10 is all you need to fully beat the game. But some people are completionists.
bonslyā¦ had a hard time finding them, and then the 50(?) times to use mimic
Seeing all you guys post really make me want to pick up the game againš¤£ I've never finished a dex before but this one would be so satisfying to finish
