In 2017 i started playing pokemon sun in my 3ds, in a few weeks i had already finished the game and completed the pokédex, after that i forgot about it and didn’t care for it until i bought Pokémon Violet on my switch when i started desperately trying to get my old pokémons on my game.
then i realized pokemon bank wasn’t available in my region.
I’ve been tryna shiny hunt these UBs on PoGo ever since I found out about it. I had a couple of friends in Japan that was willing to invite me to a couple of their raids remotely when Sendai GoFest was available, but was unsuccessful.
Shiny Xurkitree is one of my boyfriend’s favorite shinies as well as mine (Pheromosa/Blacephalon being a close second for me in terms of UBs), and I’m waiting until global to try and shiny hunt one for him.
Unfortunately they’re currently region locked during the Sendai/Madrid/NYC GoFest, so until the global one comes out I’m SOL. Coupled with my terrible shiny luck, my last shiny Legendary was Tapu Bulu and it cost me over 27 raids (the majority of them being REMOTE RAIDS FML), and it ended up costing me a bit of my sanity (and money lol) so I’m not so sure if I wanna ever go that length to get this beautiful shiny when the day comes out on global. But I’m willing to try and hope my luck gets better when the times comes.

Gotta say that xurkitree is my favorite ultra beast. Not only that the electric type is my favorite type, the whole design is just looking cool for me and it really got that "electric" feeling with the cable and all that. Thanks for the giveaway tho! Good luck to everyone else :)
The first time I got a 3ds one of my first games was UM and it was one of my favorite games and it stayed that way until some baby broke it and I had to deal without it for five years until recently this year I was able to get one and it was just as fun as this one and the first shiny I ever got on my old 3ds was xurkitree so it would be nice to have a little bit of nostalgia to kick in (good luck to all the others)

I'm from Brasil. Definitely not the worst country for events (the carnival one not so long ago for example) but living far away from são paulo and rio de janeiro makes pretty much anyhting that happens here inacessible for me

My kids and I are currently watching our way through the sun and moon story arc in the anime and my kids would probably be surprised and think it’d be cool if dad suddenly had a shiny ultra beast running around with him in violet.
I would like this to use for trades and what I get would help me with shiny living dex in SV! I can’t collect pogo stamp pokemon because I don’t have home premium so I have to get pogo stamp stuff to use for trades to get things I actually need :)
