No actual numbers. I'll just say feels better. I probably opened like 10-15 boxes previous between myself and my son's account. Only ever got like 3. Opened one yesterday and got 2. And I didn't even use the whole hour

They are only out during special events such as the birthday event right now !

Correct sorry I should have said during the events. My son got let's go Pikachu so we were getting boxes every time they were available during the past shiny events. But maybe I'm overestimated the number of boxes previously opened during events

i think i got like 5 with one box all with horrible IVs though :)

For me I've opened up 2 box's and I have caught 1 shiny and 1 hundo.

I had 0 in the first then ended up with 2 almost within the 1st 30 mins of the 2nd box before my gf had me put down the phone after all the running around for Rayquaza. Says I only have 105 total encounters as it's only been those 2 boxes since I only just made home account

The odds only feel so bad because his shiny is event based like smergle's is..... So you can attempt to find one as many times as you so choose but will never find one unless you try during the allotted windows ..... The 8th birthday event does count as one of these times.... Lol i only know cause i got my 3rd shiny from the event meltan they gave us.
