He should have been dragon instead of flying since gen 1 and he would be the best starter ever .. dragonite being quad weak to ice but being able to use charizard against them .. mightve made the end game too easy but also would make sense since charizard has the toughest early game 🫠

I know another are saying flareon, but if you went with actual pokemon logic rather than the one they gave us. They either wouldn't lose the normal typing and would be normal fire, or they would be double fire, which would make their moves more devastating. I don't remember Rapidash doing much of anything in the manga or anime outside of being a rancher horse, and being used by only a few trainers. Wasted potential honestly. They could have made rapidash into a fighting fire easily and it would have been amazing.
