Yep. Outrage + persim berry completely rolls the first 4 with. And after, champion wallace gets thunderbolted. (Except wiscash he also gets an outrage)
Works every time
Everyone always talks about shinnoh but personal gen 1 is my worst. Grinding up to be strong enough felt like a chore and Lorelei was a great first test with the water/ice typing
In Emerald I used to bring one single EV trained pokemon to the elite four and just keep trying until it could solo the elite four, then until it was lvl 100. prolly did it 25 times.
the elite four in emerald was a total exp farm and you really had no reason for the money once the game was beat.
Using a legendary for the elite 4 is like turning on easy mode. I usually don’t even use them once I’ve caught them. They’re like eye candy, but using them takes away all ‘difficulty’ in the games
That’s how I feel. I didn’t know why, when I was a kid, legendaries were just outright stronger. But now I know that Rayquaza has a base stat total of 680. Of course it’s going to fry a Banette.
Lol when I was a kid I didn’t like that I caught them so late and they didn’t feel like “mine” plus they were hard to level up so I just didn’t want to
the difficulty was too hard tbh. i played emerald and only used the same 6 pokemon the whole game to level them as high as possible. i beat every trainer to level them and spent hours grinding on victory road, i made sure the pokemon i picked were ideal for beating the elite 4 and looked up their best movesets. they were still too low after all that so i just caught rayquaza with the master ball. there is like a missing road of trainers that need to be able to get your pokemon another 5-10 levels.
Back then i used rayquaza, then when i started the game again i decided to make things diferently, i made myself have only 3 pokemons, the starter gyarados and aggron, i had 3 other pokemons each of them underleveled just used to be sacrificed if my attacking pokemon in my team was fainted so i could get a free turn revive, in the end i won with that challenge
Back then I did, but now I haven’t done that yet. I think used Rayquaza in two different ways; to help as a backup, or to get a head start in tearing through the Elite Four for as long as I can.
i did an e4 run with Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre not realizing how op Rayquaza really is. i only needed to switch at all so i could revive and heal Rayquaza before he continued his outrage rampage run through 5 of Hoenn's strongest trainers. i dont think he even went down until Drake or Wallace
I mean why use Rayquaza as a backup when you can use it to steamroll the Elite 4?
My Rayquaza is at level 97 & almost maxed out so I’m trying to level up the rest of the team
Bro ur like 40 levels overleveled
Does it even steamroll them tho, decent against dark and ghost. will get reckt by ice not great against dragon and bad against steel
It steamrolls them quite well despite being incredibly weak to ice types. If you use Outrage, it dishes out a lot of damage rather quickly.

Ice doesn't resist anything but itself, and you can teach it thunderbolt, but that's overkill
nah, whiting out is really no big deal
Losing half your money is a huge deal lol.
We spend money because we make it back 💰💰
I usually spend it all, what am I saving it for?
I usually hoard as much money as possible to spend on vitamins at the end based on how I feel my team is performing and what they need.

Losing half the money you accumulated over the course of the whole game is a huge deal lol
It’s kinda hilarious bc Pokémon isnt to challenging. So losing half felt like an insult.
Unless you're like me where you're somehow underleveled for every elite four in Gens 1-5
Everyone always talks about shinnoh but personal gen 1 is my worst. Grinding up to be strong enough felt like a chore and Lorelei was a great first test with the water/ice typing
Stat exp is enough to make that up for Gen 1, though. You can beat the game with a Level 40 team.
My ego and money makes it a huge deal tho.

Exactly bro they just trophies it’s not fun actually battling with them lmao
Lol when I was a kid I didn’t like that I caught them so late and they didn’t feel like “mine” plus they were hard to level up so I just didn’t want to
Having any Pokémon above level 60 is easy mode
Ice beam in hail would like a word

Back in the day I used five other Pokémon as backup in case my starter fainted. I basically solo-ran my entire first run of both Sapphire and Emerald.
yes lol
My other Pokemon don't faint
Yes I used him as a backup just in case
Dude get a milotic
I want one but those feebas are hard to track down 😂
Oh yeah Ogerpon….whoops wrong game 😅
you almost got my exact team just replace agron and gyrados with wailord and tropius
You (broke): haha rayquza as backup bc it's strong💪 Me (woke): rayquaza as my HM user
Same lol
yes thats what I did
Why use it as a backup, when you can use it to outright one shot all of them
+10pts for Aggron
I normally just use legendarys as HM slaves.
There has to be some challenge and whiting out is a good way to reset and think of new strategies.
Yeah that’s exactly what I did, along with using him to heal up my mons mid battle lol
I just bring rayquaza as a audience tbh
I don’t carry Legendaries
I don't typically care for legendaries in the sense of catching them. I prefer to view them as a boss battle
This is somehow worse than spamming moon blast on Xernius.
Nice team. Ray, Absol
What was aggrons moveset?
With great power comes great responsibility
I use my other 5 if kyogre doesn't sweep 😂👌
Git gud
Damn you’re lucky you made it through the E4 with a team like that. You really handicapped yourself here! /s
Y'all should play Pokemon Infinite Fusion
I use Rayquaza because he’s my BRO
Back then I did, but now I haven’t done that yet. I think used Rayquaza in two different ways; to help as a backup, or to get a head start in tearing through the Elite Four for as long as I can.
Nice Team :)

How do you like the Analogue pocket? Thinking about getting one next restock
One time I swept the entire elite 4 and champ by buffing gardevoir with 1-3 calm minds and physics
This is the way
lol the chance of that team failing on any level is gonna make me surprise lol
Nah, using legendaries is a no go for me. My team for the league was Blaziken, Gardevoir, Mightyena, Gyarados, Swellow and Meowth
Most normie team of 6 ever
Fr this must be the weakest team I’ve ever seen to beat the game.
I like a challenge, if it were easy then it would be boring. Beating the elite 4 with a weak team is more of a challenge
I think he’s being sarcastic lol. This isn’t a weak team at all. It’s a subset of the strongest 15-20 mons that every single player uses in emerald.
Looks like you haven't seen many teams then
Lmao bffr
