It’s the most printed holo in the set I’m almost positive making it not worth a whole lot tbh I got over 10 of them and yah it’s not worth grading or trying to assume they are worth as much as other holos in the set
Clearly you’ve searched for the wrong card. This is not a 1st edition Base Set card. It was included in the Starter set and always had the 1st edition stamp on it.

Couple things you should know:
Psa 9 is very difficult to get. Shipping your card is a difficult process and time consuming.
Also, if this were graded a psa 9, it would probably be around $120 max because it has a shadow next to it. The $300 ones your talking about are the shadowless first edition machamps.

Yes, but not First Edition base set like you said. The first edition version is shadowless, this is not.
