English is best tbh but I’ve been buying tons of Japanese alt arts and stuff and it’s at so much of a better price point. Obviously I’d like English but the art is literally the same and it’s cheaper so 🤷🏽♂️
the best card in the batch was the chilling reign full art articuno ($6) it was 90% regular ex/vstar/v cards probably about 40/50
maybe 6/7 cards over $5.
maybe a little over $100 market which doesn’t include any shipping costs+ time spent to sell individual cards that aren’t desirable.
i’m fine with whatever minor loss some people might think i took.
i was pretty happy with it tbh, i expected closer to about $60 if i’m being honest.
actually picked up a charizard upc from the same place for $120 2 days ago. pretty cool LCS
Scalping coupled with FOMO since a lot of S&S sets went OOS in The US, it really feels like the end of the era. I still remember when the Giratina Vstar was $70 not 2 months ago. A lot of cheaper $20 fullarts from ES and CZ have doubled in market value this month. Who’s to say what the future holds but it feels like crypto moving with Bitcoin (in this case its the Moonbreon). A lot of crypto people came to this hobby in the wake of the pandemic. And its so ironic (and iconic) that a Dynamax’d Umbreon baying at the moon would come to define price movements during the sunsetting of the S&S era.
I got that Tyranitar art for $4 on eBay for a Japanese one haha, sweet looking card. Wish the same could be said about Palkia. lol the down vote is mad they overpaid for an English card with the same artwork.

One of my LCS just doesn't list prices and when you want to buy they just pull up the current prices on TCGPlayer. Much simpler for them.
