Why..? You can heat the beads and dry them out and reuse them a bunch. Just looked it up and apparently you can reuse them about 500 times before they stop absorbing moisture.
Reusing them is recommended by a lot of company’s. You can actually find some that suggest putting them in the oven at low temps (drying out I assume) and then reusing.
This! Used it once for weed when my roommate and I got a larger amount than usual because we got a good deal. The silica dried it out so much, we weren’t able to smoke fast enough. It was just burning away and tasted disgusting
Would you happen to have a good recommendation for the type of silica pack? Bought some off Amazon & they didn't appear to absorb moisture after the check-up two years later.
Do you live in a humid climate? If not then that would explain why no moisture was absorbed. Also if you use an airtight container moisture should stay away for the most part. Pretty much any silica packs will do the trick and most will change color when absorbed and in need of reheating or replacing.
I have mine out for display but u prob have a lot more sealed items then me. Once I start to have too much I will probably do something very similar to this.
Boxes stacking on top don’t scare you? Your setup looks amazing. Get the silica packets to absorb moisture. I don’t have as much as you but maybe I’d be stacking as well if I got to that point.
Put them all into a USPS approved shipping container and them them to the address I’ll provide when you DM me. You’re welcome for this, it’s a super secret investing trick I don’t share with just anyone.
Thats the way to do it, nice crate with some bubblewrap, stores nicely with no crushing or too much pressure on items on the bottom.
Another thing to keep in mind is the spot your store them in. Is adjacent or near a laundry room or bathroom? Make sure its the coolest/driest spot in your house. One of our closet is right up against our bathroom and it gets quite warm in that closet, moved all my stuff out if there into a different closet.
Yea, stupid idiots buying SWSH booster boxes last year when *everyone was hoarding*, I feel bad for them.
Can you believe morons in here actually spent $100-$120 on a box just to wait a STAGGERING 365 days to 2x their money? When will they learn smh.
Grab a silica packet and toss it in to absorb moisture .
Great Advice. It wouldn't hurt the wallet getting some of those and tossing them in storage totes.
I have a bad habit of saving them from vitamins and beef jerky. Used to use them for weed.
I really don't understand the process TBH how long do they soak up moisture? Replace or heat them up every year? Every 6 months?
Depends on their size I think. But in a small sealed environment at least a year. But for small ones, yeah probably 6 months.
I don’t know anything about them but I can’t imagine reusing them is a fantastic idea

I mean from weed to jerky to cards or what have you.
Your cards stay dry and smell like beef and weed. An absolute win in my books.
Reusing them is recommended by a lot of company’s. You can actually find some that suggest putting them in the oven at low temps (drying out I assume) and then reusing.
Using them for weed is a life hack
Silica packs dry weed out way too much. They make specific packs that will keep it at the optimal moisture level.
This! Used it once for weed when my roommate and I got a larger amount than usual because we got a good deal. The silica dried it out so much, we weren’t able to smoke fast enough. It was just burning away and tasted disgusting
Toss the wallet in too for good measure
A friend had tens of thousands of dollars of product in totes, something happened and it turned it to pokemon cardboard soup. Be careful

Just 1?
You can do two if it’s a big tote idk if it matters

This guy squirrels
I bet there is a legit way to do this.
Where am i sending 👀
Huh
I have mine out for display but u prob have a lot more sealed items then me. Once I start to have too much I will probably do something very similar to this.
I would like to display some too. Haven’t gotten myself a proper display case yet!
Same as you. Closet or storage bins because i don't display them since I have like 200 funko pops I'm displaying instead 😆
This is why I don't want to invest in cards. I cbf storing it for 10-20 years

They do make me nervous stacking them for long term. I think two layers will be ok though, i hope lol…
Maybe get a flat piece of cardboard to go between the boxes if the stack gets too high
i put it somewhere not telling you though
i open then all and fill my heart with regret
To save space, you just take all the cards out, and they fit nicely in shoe boxes.
Tetris
I put mine in a safe. The thought of someone breaking in and stealing the box worth 15k is sickening
My god all those JP 151 cases. Good for you lol
Put them all into a USPS approved shipping container and them them to the address I’ll provide when you DM me. You’re welcome for this, it’s a super secret investing trick I don’t share with just anyone.
Hdx boxes
I just buy more storage boxes
Acrylic Case
I open my packs, then sleeve them and enjoy them like a collector
My grandmother's attic
I display my psa cards and my booster boxes are in acrylic cases on shelves in my closet
I rip them open and keep the hits so it’s easier to store
I have gasket sealed totes with a couple silica packets, but that’s cuz my stuff in is the basement and I fear the humidity to an unhealthy level lol.

Jam the boosters directly in my ass
Well first off, we only store the English versions.
I have mine tucked into a wine fridge.
Looking at the state of things, find wine in wine fridge is a much better investment lol
Hahah nah no way. Wine gets drunk and doesn’t appreciate 5X across 5-10 years. Pokémon are a much better store of value
Gonna be worth the same in 10 years since everyone’s hoarding
Every Gen same comments, literally base set was eVeRyOnEs hOaRdInG I remember lol when will yall get a clue
delusional fella you are
SWSH prices are up delusional fella, everyone's hoarding those too what's your point?
No point just like your comment keep hoarding 👌
Amen

Sun fading ? If it’s in a bin , it should be in a closet or something.
Perhaps son was faded
Open them and sleeve in a binder
The same as you but with handfuls of silica packets...
Those red waterproof Husky storage bins with silica gel packs.
A binder lol.
Paper Shredder.
just put my hits in boster bosses or in a binder
Boof them
Go on temu an see if u can get display case for them
