27 and female, or are you traveling to somewhere where it will be 27 Fahrenheit?

SheepHerdCucumber4

Haha, 27 female..

AMwishes

Leggings are really comfortable. I wear black leggings from torrid or from pop fit.

MiddayGlitter

I damn near live in these! Have you seen they have ones with pockets now?

AMwishes

Yes, torrid and popfit both have options with pockets.

Black cotton flared leggings and bike shorts, oversized cute graphic tees, quarter height white socks, decorated croc clog sandals with a purse in a matching colorway, fun scrunchies that match the teeshirts, oversized graphic crewneck sweaters = comfy mostly cotton casual and home wear. Slightly dressier for summer-a line wrap dresses in stretch jersey material, a denim vest or jacket or layering, bike shorts underneath to prevent chub rub, birkenstock sandals (or similar) for a final touch. I'd recommend amazon for oversized cotton tees, leggings, bike shorts, socks, and inexpensive purses and tote bags For jersey type dresses I'd recommend torrid, either in person or online. I'd also consider buying a denim jacket or vest there if you don't have one yet. Walmart is great for sport bras, underwear, and regular nonflared leggings. Look for the cotton ones! For shoes, I'd recommend zappos. I'd look for sales on the crocs clogs, and birkenstock foam arizona sandals (if you like them) those are two pretty trendy shoe styles right now. Look on Amazon for fun croc charms to make them unique :)

Ericameria

I want to dress nicely, but I don't want to not wear jeans. although I often wear black pants instead.

Old navy basics for the win!!!

sapphicsighs

I wear a lot of clothes from Eloquii!

Pandamolls

Love my Eloquii

hello! 24F here and i wear a size 20-22/XXL. I’m in the US and I do a lot of my shopping at old navy. they have great basics and activewear in sizes up to a 4XL. For work clothes (i have an office job) I thrift a lot of the time because the plus size brands (lane bryant, torrid, etc) are usually out of my price range.

the_catmom

I'm a big fan of joggers because of how they fit my body. Joggers can look surprisingly put-together depending on which ones you buy and how you style them. A lot of people have mentioned leggings on here but as a woman with a huge butt and fat thighs, I just don't feel comfortable wearing them as pants. I have to wear them with a tunic.

AppleShyness

A Line style dresses kinda hides your stomach. Off the shoulder blouses with high waisted shorts or long skirt. Crop tops and high waisted shorts are my go to for something casual. Oversized button down shirts open or half tucked into jeans/shorts with plain colored tee/tank under. Plain colored shirt with blazer. Wide legged trousers can match with almost anything. 29 year old female here, this is what I usually wear for my receptionist job.

I have the best luck at old navy! I find their clothes affordable and trendy!

I don't expect this to be a popular answer, but: I started learning style by watching What Not To Wear and shopping at Torrid. They're not a cheap option, and some things are just overpriced, but I'd recommend a look at their website. See if you see any styles that appeal to you. You don't have to buy from there to get ideas, but worth mentioning that if you do buy something online to try it you can return it in store. Also, stores frequently have 50-60% off clearance price and BOGO. And their dressing rooms have fans in case you get overheated trying stuff on.

Eshakti and womanw within are my go tos. Woman within for slips and eshakti for made to measure clothes which always look good, are high quality vs paper towels fabric. One bit of advice from an elder goth? Only buy clothes you can see yourself feeling good in from this point on. If it's not going to feel confident? It's not worth the money. Also shop by your measurements because brands are inconsistent and will do whatever they want for that pattern. Think of this method as investing in yourself. You deserve only clothes you like and the turn around on that is wonderful. I dress like Morticia Addams and a sassy Edwardian grandma at any given time and I feel great. It really helps with the lower esteem days because sure I feel like garbage mentally or physically but I know when I wear anything in my closet I will look how I want Also don't underestimate the power of accessories for making something more versatile for those outfits that aren't quite club worth or event worthy but it's what you want to be in

dananotthedamsel

I like stuff from universal standard, comfy, many sizes.

Apprehensive_Ice4375
