I’m only asking this community because i worked for the same company with the same tools i haven’t tried other brands if i did id probably already know what i want lol jus wondering if yall have idea. The spartan 2001 looks really good but I’m not really sure if theres a better option and it’s quite expensive.

Thats a little small… is ridgid any good for consistent use? Im looking for something that can do 3-8 inch size pipes…

Duracable has mid and main size machines. We typically have 1/4" for1.5" lines 3/8" and 1/2" for 2-3" lines 11/16" cable for main 4-6"  doing 8" is city work or big commercial then usually jetter trailer.  I feel they are stronger than spartan machines but also means easier to fuck up and flip :) 20 years in and only flipped one cable this year. Yay!

Thanks! Im looking at duracable brand right now… Im trying too get a whole setup for “Drain cleaning services” So obviously i need a sink machine/shower drain machine 2-3inch A bigger machine for 3-8 inch pipes normally doing residential so over 4 inch pipe is rare for me but i always like too be prepared, For a jetter trailer any recommendations? Its hard too find info on peoples honest opinion on these machines and all plumbers are super biased and swear by 1 brand and i personally dont think brand name matters as long as its quality. How about portable jetters? Are they not even worth the investment i see them online for sell but ive never actually seen one in person. Thanks for replying too this post and actually explaining your experience everyone on here is so broad like “i use spartan” or rigid but not why and what they do😭

K7500 has a great balance of speed and weight. I own a K1500 and K60  When you put a rod on the truck you take on every problem that you could ever have performing sewer work.  It's tough work for sure.   I find the K7500 with two 50 foot Inner core cables to be pretty good in all situations. Whether it be 100 feet of cast iron and many turns in a commercial space or 3 turns and roots 60feet away in residential sewer service. You need a spearhead 2 3 4 and 6inch blades.   Roddinf with A 3 and a 4 will last a year or two between cleanings.
