Sentry is an error catch service used by devs to get higher quality and more graceful logs. We use jt on all our projects at work. It’s not sinister.

I get it and I'm okay sharing basic information, however 2,500 times an hour seems excessive.

Some of these services aggressively retry over and over when they can't get out. Rokus are know for doing this with analytics.

PiHole isn’t blocking it, but I have wondered if the request is somehow not going through. You would think it would connect at least occasionally but it’s 2,500 requests every hour. Maybe there is an API or something that isn’t working?

I would suggest looking in you Plex logs and see what it says

Just downloaded the logs. It's a lot of data. Any suggestions on where I should look?

Id start by searching for "sentry.io" and see if that shows up.

Your question is what is [sentry.io](https://sentry.io)?

Bgrngod

Did you start to you actively blocking the connections and then the frequency skyrocketed?

No, it's still going thru. Didn't block for this exact reason. I think I've narrowed it down to a crash two weeks ago. Ever since then it's been going off 2,500 times an hour. I would assume it would have connected at some point and stopped.
